Am I doing more harm than good?

So I try to use my aneros as many times as I can throughout the week. I will lube it up, get it in and relax for a good while. Watch a little porn to get me excited and try contractions. A few times I have felt a wave of "goodness" tale over my body, nothing major, but enough to feel it. I try and have patience, but that sometimes gets the best of me and I end up jerking off about a half hour into it. The Orgasms are incredible with it it and I have also had intense orgasms without it being it since I have started using the aneros.
Should I refrain from jerking off during my aneros session? I really don't want to because it does feel great when I do have an orgasm? Is this taking me farther away from "training/rewiring?"

mrock,

I think you first need to ask yourself why you bought an Aneros and what you hope to accomplish through its use. I don't believe you are doing any physical harm to your body, however...
By strictly following the pleasure principle you are programming yourself into experiencing Super-T Anerosessions. As this programming [COLOR="DarkGreen"]("training/rewiring") becomes firmly established in your mind it will become increasingly difficult to switch into the thought paradigm necessary to experience a Super-O. Perhaps Super-O states are not your goal, if so, then just continue with whatever path you'd like and enjoy the heightened pleasure you are already receiving.

However, if you want to experience some other blissful states of pleasure you will need to program a different thought paradigm. Please read the Penis, NOT! thread by 'Cockadoodle' and 'rook's thread Whole Body/Whole Mind --the mental side for a little insight into this other paradigm.

You are the Captain, helmsman and navigator of your ship, you are now aware of the cross-currents and Sirens which may lure you off course.

Should I refrain from jerking off during my aneros session? I really don't want to because it does feel great when I do have an orgasm? Is this taking me farther away from "training/rewiring?"

I trust you have the wisdom to answer your own questions and pursue what you really want.

mrock,

As rumel implied, the Aneros device has a split personality. It can be used to generate Tantra-like whole body bliss-fests or it can be used to make standard sex acts more enjoyable. Those uses are not exclusive. One time you might feel like amplifying sex with a partner, another time you might feel like zoning out with the P-waves (you called it "goodness") or going bonkers with a super-o. Whatever. Don't stress on it.

Cheers,

Dave
