For me I think I was 3-4 months in before feeling what I thought was pleasure from my anus, and a month or so later it developed to the point where I knew it was pleasurable. For the following months it was off and on, weeks of occasionally feeling it and weeks where I didn't. I think I am making further development since last night. Last night I was lying awake trying to go to sleep for several hours, but through some visualization of sorts I was able to produce erotic feelings from my anus and chest at will. I've been able to reproduce it today, but I haven't messed with it too much. The first stepping stone for me was impatience and expectation. I thought "maybe it'll work the first time," but it wasn't for several months before I started feeling pleasure from my anus. But now that I'm no longer obsessing over it, time doesn't seem to move so slowly, and I'm pleasantly surprised by any new developments. Another thing that I think was holding me back was usage of porn. I was a heavy porn user, and tried to quit. I ended up going to "light" porn usage, which was heavy porn usage but instead of every day, once a month. I ended up going once in two weeks, then one week, and recently I got back onto actually quitting. After not using porn at all for long enough, I stop needing it. I am able to feel more things in terms of arousal. I can get more from picturing something in my mind than from pounding my brain with a bunch of pictures. I get to where I can focus on the feelings, instead of figuring out which picture I want to finish to. To me porn is no longer worth it, and I'm pretty sure I am becoming more in tune with my body by quitting.

@jspad, good to hear, I'm sure quitting porn is not easy, maybe even akin to quitting smoking. Hopefully quitting will benefit your aneros use in a big way.

Wow @Pareidolia the Progasm seems like a big jump from the MGX. Was it a easy transition from one to the other?

@ineverknew I have continued having sessions and its always either pretty good or pretty bad. I will continue to keep trying. Are there any positions that you suggest?

@toolbox I think introvert is a pretty accurate description of me. I tend to keep a lot of things in and I have a hard time expressing myself to people in person. There are somethings I'm going to have to accept and keep it moving, but that's a lot easier said than done. Also freeing my mind of anything is pretty hard so I guess that will take some practice.

That's very interesting to know. @jspad It took about 2 months with the knock off to start feeling anything pleasurable and it has been hit and miss most of the time since. I to am trying to continue this journey porn free. How do you keep yourself turned on with out it?

@wonderboy95, the most popular positions seem to be laying on your back with your legs spread slightly. The other is laying on your side with either one leg bent and the other straight or fetal position. If you laying on your back make sure the tail of the device is not hitting anything to stop any movement that might happen, if you feel it is hitting simply put a pillow under your bum. As for arousal, porn is fine before a session to get warmed up so to say but not a good idea during a session in my opinion. There will always be good/bad sessions along this journey, just try and think of the bad ones as an opportunity as me time/meditation which is very good for the soul. 😉

How do I get turned on without porn? After a good while away from indulging in porn (which seems to me to be easier to quit cold turkey by the way; or at least it seems to be the best mindset) I find that using my imagination works wonders. When you're on porn, imagining sexual situations can seem ineffective, or even futile. After staying off long enough to balance out a bit, the brain is more easily turned on. Not masturbating for a few days or more can also make you more apt to become aroused, but I've found that in the early parts of quitting porn even that might not work sometimes. Just give it time, and you'll probably find that your imagination is a really powerful tool 🙂 Lately thoughts of a tongue licking my anus give me feelings down there and up in my chest 😀 For me the two areas seem to share a connection when it comes to feeling erotic energies.

The Progasm is fine, it just needs a bit of a pre-flight checklist:- relaxed position
- lube
- scooping motion where you slowly insert the head first as if it were the whole toy, and then rotate and insert completely
- repeat: no rushing!

Cheers...
