Hi all, I've been using my aneros mgx for roughly 2-3 months now and having sessions almost daily.
I've followed all the guidance with breathing, relaxation and contractions with no luck.
2 days ago I do believe I had the start of a super O, I felt a hot vibration coming from my groin that shot out through my body. But only lasted for literally 1 second.
When I experienced this I was doing the do nothing method as the tug of war was tensing me up to much and getting me nowhere.
The issue I seem to be having now with the do nothing method is the when I start feeling the waves rising when I'm breathing (calm and relaxed) it seems to take away the waves, I think when I breathe it's interfering with my anus as I feel it tense up when breathing. When I got the first 1 second wave the other day I had let all the air out and not inhaled. But the problem with that is I need oxygen.
Any tips, trick, suggestions and guidance would be much appreciated. I will stick with it and keep using my aneros but since missing out on that last Super O it's kind of demoralising.

Two years ago I was experimenting with ESTIM hoping for a semen push out the penis event. Never happened. So I am assuming prostate has either shrunk or become inert? It is not enlarged, had it checked by hand and also sonogram. I am thinking that I now have more than enough tools and ample firepower but the prostate is just not sensitive enough?
So here is the big question: how to make a prostate more sensitive? Or is this the right question to ask? I have no illusions with physicians on this topic. They are about as useful as a bag of hammers. Thanks to all who contribute to this forum. We are a band of brothers trying to find a path.
By the way, I used my TENS device with a pad on the perineum and one on the sacrum and while not achieving the hip thrusts as mentioned at least I felt something at level 1 out of 10 of being erotic in nature.
Try using your toy less, like 2-3 times a week. On off days, you can: self-caress; practice aless methods such as the vagus nerve orgasm method; practice arousal such as writing erotica and fantasizing.
Try tug tug of war occasionally still. Vary the techniques.

Try letting your body breath naturally, focusing on sensations in and around your prostate rather than on your breathing. That is what I did in the beginning, and often do today. I unconsciously hold my breath frequently, but my lungs draw in air on their own when needed. Note that I am more of a tug o war guy.
Are you aroused during sessions? Do you involve your nipples or other body parts? Do you moan? Fantasize actively? ...

This is spot on on both accounts. Maybe you were close, maybe you weren't, maybe that was the natural ending for that particular session. Don't dwell on this, you get to try again as often as you want so you're not losing anything and each session brings new data you can use for the next one.
I also used to time contractions with breathing, that was from listening to a lot of meditation audios and hypnosis, where they'll make you inhales and exhale at a certain pace, or draw energy when you breathe in and release tension when you breathe out, stuff like that. Sometimes it works good with Aneros, sometimes it doesn't. Decoupling breathing and contractions seems like the way to do it, so even of your body (abs, legs, glutes) is tensed up, you should be able to breathe effortlessly. It takes some practice but is very doable and worth mastering.

Are you highly aroused daily ? Successful Aneros use is highly dependent on high sexual arousal. If you aren't highly aroused going into a session, it is not likely you will have much luck despite your level of skill with the various physical techniques one may employ. I highly doubt your breathing is impairing your anal muscle response unless you are experiencing severe hypoxia. Deep valley breathing is usually a very good technique your relaxing not only physical tension but psychological tension too.
What are you doing to increase arousal ? How often are you ejaculating ? It seems to me you may be pushing trying to make something happen instead of allowing your body to respond in its own way. May I suggest you take a short temporary break from Aneros use, read the Aneros, Arousal & Abstinence/Semen Retention thread and then try the 21 day challenge. See where you stand after those 3 weeks and then try your MGX again. I'm willing to bet your results will be much improved.
Rewiring yourself to experience orgasms in a new way requires patience, but most importantly it requires a paradigm shift in thinking and dropping expectations that you can somehow force yourself to have these orgasms. Your body is fully capable of extraordinary sensations, you just have to let it show you the way, let your aroused body take the lead.

I don't know of any way to make the prostate more sensitive, I surely wish I did since suffering a significant loss of sensitivity due to prostate cancer radiation treatment. I am hesitant to endorse E-stim because of its potential to create even more desensitization if excessively used.
There is a large group of E-Stim aficionados at SmartStim.com, with a wealth of information surrounding E-Stim usage, however, you do have to join the membership (it's free) in order to access the website information. There have been numerous discussions there about electrifying Aneros massagers. Most of those discussions revolve around homemade devices. E-Stim equipment is mentioned in the Aneros WIKI and in several threads in the Forum such as Electrosex and Aneros, electrostimulation...., Hesitating to post this but… & electro-stim + aneros / ‘sterostimming’.
