Advice for beginner: Helix Trident vs. Progasm Ice Jr?

Hello all,

New here (and to Aneros or to any anal play)

Been perusing the forum for a few weeks, and at the point of making a purchase
I've read several of the "newbie" threads, but still want to some final advice before a decision

I'm leaning between the Helix Trident OR the Progasm Ice Jr

Here are my considerations
- Helix is very consistently recommended as a good balance for beginners. But the material and surface of the Progasm Jr Ice seems easier to clean and less likely to break. Black color is also always nicer than in white
- I can't figure out if the P-tab and K-tab are the same on both. I want it to be well rounded ball-like and not sharp or scratchy, which seemed to be a problem with other Helix's but not sure if still a problem with Helix trident. I get the sense that they are round on the Progasm Jr
- My main goal is to learn to separate orgasm from ejaculation (and of course pleasure). I have occasional premature ejaculation, I think mainly related to general anxiety. It doesnt occur if I'm really relaxed. And I think may have overly tense pelvic muscles, and get a lot of involuntary flutters/flexes upon stimulation. Wondering whether the more movement of Helix is better, or steadiness of Progasm Jr is better in developing better control and then rewiring
- After some time and development, I'd be interested in being able to use the Aneros during partner sex as well. Seen some concerns around the Progasm Ice models slipping out easier
- Lastly, I dont have a lot of time on hand for hours and hours of sessions. I expect ~45-60min 2x/week. It seems the aggressive angling of the Progasm Jr may allow quicker escalation during a session, whereas the Helix requires longer sessions. But this thought is pure conjecture

Any suggestions based on the above considerations?

@kushpush I would vote for the Helix-Trident. My very first Super-O was with the Helix Classic. I had the Progasm Jr but it never really did anything for me. Cleaning of the H-T (or any Aneros for that matter) is not a problem for me either. Neither are the P- and K-tabs which I find to be comfortable. Finally, the H-T is part of the new "Trident" series of Aneros prostate massagers. The H-T is the only Trident I have now, but I can definitely feel the difference, especially in lateral movement, due to the MAMA design. IMHO, you can't go wrong with the Helix-Trident! Perhaps your second purchase can be the PI-Jr!

@goldenboy thank you
any thoughts on whether one or the other helps more in developing pelvic floor muscle balance and control?
I.e. does the lateral movement of HT more helpful? Or will the reduce movement of ProJr be more helpful?

@kushpush Hard to answer your question. I had the ProJr early-on and never really learned to use it well. I did have trouble "retaining" it during sessions. I would still recommend the H-T for your purchase.
