A nice presentation. Direct and to the point. Much better than the last videos I saw that were posted here a while back that were written, staged, and poorly acted with the exception of one that was an interview.

The man in the video is John Richardson, Director of Client Relations.

I met him a couple of times at Erotica in London.

It would do a lot more for the credibility of the Aneros if the men talking about it and using it on these and other YouTube videos weren't camp/effeminate.

How does his style in any way affect the credibility of the Aneros information? Are you holding some bias?

Because plain and simple: if everyone seen promoting the Aneros is slightly effeminate, the masses will not consider it a tool for straight people. I would have thought this was obvious.

Yes, I am holding some bias. A lot of gay men will need less convincing to use this than a straight man would, so there should be some straight men promoting this to take the "perceived gay connotations" out of this. Do you not agree? Note: I didn't ask what should be the case in a perfect world, I asked if you agree.

Agreed, this one is a lot more concise and informative as well.

MyTurn,

I have watched the three YouTube videos linked here several times. In no case did I perceive the presenter of the information as acting in a "campy" manner nor did he speak or act in a manner I would consider "effeminate". From what I observed I would not be able to determine what his gender orientation may be. Do you KNOW if this individual is straight, bi or gay? And even if you do KNOW -

How does his style in any way affect the credibility of the Aneros information?

as 'imp' asked?

While I agree with you there are many men harboring fears of "...perceived gay connotations..." based on homophobia with respect to Aneros usage, it seems to me the Aneros marketing program has striven to avoid this kind of bias. Quite thoughtfully I might add. It seems to me, your admitted bias is causing you to respond to your projected perceptions rather than the actual information contained in the video.

I agree with 'Love_is' -

A nice presentation. Direct and to the point. Much better than the last videos I saw that were posted here a while back that were written, staged, and poorly acted with the exception of one that was an interview.

As far as I can determine, nothing said in the video clips was inaccurate or deceptive so as to cast doubt about the credibility of Aneros products.

Rumel, Imp

I don't know if it's coz I love linguistics and our English language (UK, US), as well as foreign languages (Spanish, French), but I just hear that twang in his voice. I am British, so it seems weird for me to hear something in a US accent that an American can't hear, but maybe it's a case of not being able to see/perceive something when it is in your environment regularly. Sort of like a parent not noticing their kid age, whereas a long-distance relative, who visits once every 5 years will!

From memory (I watched the clip a few days? ago), he has a nasal twang, a sort of intonation, and pronunciation that is usually indicative of recognizable homosexual male. Although many do not have this. Note that, from 1997 to 2008, I thought I was gay/bi/internal homophobic/confused/"somewhat Homosexual OCD but also gay anyway" myself (including depression, suicidal, reading "coming out stories" online, coming out to mum BEFORE I got a girlfriend, etc), so this isn't homophobic.
