For my 50th birthday I ordered myself a Helix Syn (considered the Vice for a long time but thought that might be too much), it should arrive tomorrow. My wife and kids are out of town for a 4 day weekend so will have plenty of me time.
Already scheduled a massage after work on Friday, followed by a nice dinner and wine, and then my first experience with my Helix. Can't wait, looking for the right music or sound track to set the mood as get to experience the beginning of what I read you guys talk about.....any suggestions guys on how to start or enjoy this all weekend?
my only advice would be this: don't get overexcited, also release any expectation, no pressure on your mind to achieve 'something'. Its the advice i wish i had been given 10 years ago when i started this journey.
@wflake I would start by taking a nice and relaxing bath first. Then, for setting up the mood, I would use some nice relaxing nature sounds (ocean waves, birds singing, thunderstorm with rain....all do for me, to relax my mind, and be more "in-tune" with myself), or some nice, mellow, non-heavy music, if you prefer. For the rest, as @inhope already said to you, don't fret, and don't get too overexcited either. Take your time, experiment with different positions/contractions, see what feels best to you, and just relax....
I'm 26, and i've been into prostate stimulation for quite some time now (almost 8 years). And, it took me a very while to train both my brain, as well as all the organs involved, to make them respond, correctly, to the type of stimulation prostate massage gives to the body and mind.
So, don't get desperate if you don't get the results you expected to have, right away. Time, patience and persistence are the key elements that play a big role, here.
Definitely don't expect too much. Just enjoy what you do get, it might be something or nothing on your first go but never be disappointed always be pleased with anything even just the smallest tingle of pleasure. And if you are not sure always post on here there are some very knowledgeable people around to guide you. Hope you enjoy it.
Read the wiki pages between sessions. A lot of the knowledge in there doesn't stick well until you put it in context with experience.
