I have 5 Aneros models currently and I use them in rotation. I would like to know (from the experts) if the prostate may get "confused" in rotating models for sessions? Or is it better to "stay" with one model for several sessions? Does it make any difference? Thanks for expert advice!
@goldenboy, I do not think your prostate gets confused if you rotate your five Aneros models. If it does, it would let you know. Maybe what you should do is let your body and psyche, perhaps even your prostate, what they want from your models and see what happens.
As for myself, I seldom use only one model in my sessions. Now presently I use three or even four models from small and slender to big and thick. Often I start off with Eupho followed usually by MGX, then Maximus, and finally Progasm Classic or ICE. I may even throw in Tempo as a booster to my sessions. However I pay attention to what my body and psyche desire. And yes, I get first consideration to what my prostate wants.
Now that I am wearing a jock and cup to my sessions, I pay special attention to my body and its wants, but also am on guard against injury.
@goldenboy , I'm not an expert but I go with what my prostate whispers to me during a session. I start with the model suggested to me by my body and always have a second one ready for action. If the first one gives me great sensations, it stays in for the duration of the session. If the sensations are so-so after a while with the first one, then I switch and often, it makes the difference.
If I make a switch while being in the "zone" of my session, it almost always turns out to be a mistake as all I have done is disturb the good run.
I guess for me, I always go with my gut feel which I equate to my body's whispers. I never got the feeling of confusion originating from my prostate.

IMHO, No, idon't think so, prostate stimulation is prostate stimulation though each massager has its own performance characteristics. Your body may have a tendency to respond better to one massager over others but I don't think that constitutes confusion.
Or is it better to "stay" with one model for several sessions?
For Newbies, I recommend they stay with one favorite model until they are able to obtain a Super-O. I recommend this just so the user learns to focus on his own responses rather than on focusing on the nuanced performance of the massager itself.
Does it make any difference?
Once one has become sufficiently rewired and multi-orgasmic I don't think it makes much of a difference except for the sake of variety and exploring those nuanced differences. In any event, I agree with @BigGlansDC & @GGringo that you should listen to your prostate's whisperings as to which particular model to play with at any particular time.
Good Vibes to You !
2+ years, all 3 versions of Helix, 1 Eupho/C, 1 MGX/T, 1 progasm jr., 1 HIH950. 2 Paridice, and one off brand Echo.
NO Super-O yet. (still love each wave they give me)
Not Expert Aneros user.
But many other somewhat 'mentallly' dominated sports/hobbys.
(4 time National Champion in one of them, and top 5 Nationally in another)
All have equipment/devices involved.
This thread has reminded me of repeated experiences in my past where "Equipment Junkie" is a common detriment to improvement or success.
IE, a EJ thinks, It is not the participants skill/ability, but their equipment that is holding them back.
Please let me share an example, where I have not fallen complete prey to this, nor have I had any noteworthy success.
In my retirement, I have taken up Table Tennis (PingPong). After 5 years, 4 paddles with 6 different rubber and sponge combinations, my skills have improved, BUT, not really from the 'equipment' changes.
I loaned a older used up beginner paddle to a new member of our club who had not played for over 40 years, but was a well coached and skilled teen player. My old 'useless' paddle in his hands strongly reminded me that I had been focusing on the device side to improve, instead of the skill and mental/confidence side of success.
This Thread about trying 'another' Aneros device to 'get there', has me remembering how I used to watch others in an activity (where I had repeated National success), try spend/buy their way to the upper ranks, unsuccessfully.
Maybe another Aneros device change can help some of us......
Maybe 'Equpmemt Junkie' is holding me back....
Maybe discovering, listening to our prostates, learning and patiently rewiring ourselves is the best path to whatever prostate pleasures we can achieve.
PS .... reading the posts on this site have certainly given me my best improvments and pleasures.
Thanks to all who share their time and knowledge/experiences here.
They have helped more than any 'next best "gotta try"' device I have spent $ on.
Hope this helps someone.
I like the excitement of picking out which model to use for my session. I usually find myself having an unexplained preference... like thinking about what kind of food you want for dinner.
I think it's an interesting question tough. I tried sticking to one model for a few weeks here and there, but I wasn't left with any firm conclusions about it.
On one hand, using the same model all the time could allow you to get better at using it... like, you might be able to dial-in on the subtle twitches and sensory awareness that work best for that model. There's surely a learning aspect to it, on what ever level (maybe some learning takes place in your nervous system?).
Then on the other hand, using the same model all the time lacks novelty and some amount of unpredictability. I like changing models because I feel like it's a way to catch myself off guard... if I forget how to "use" a model, then I just have to give up and let it do the work. (which I should be doing regardless, but it's a part of the fantasy I guess).
I think it's something that warrants experimentation. I'm actually curious what might happen if I stuck with one model for, say, 50 or 100 sessions. I did stick with the Helix for about a year, because that was the first model I ever got, and the only one I had that whole time, but I think some things work differently at various stages of rewiring.
I always use several toys in each session. Seldom do I stick with one or two. Usually 5 is the baseline, but honestly I'll have up to 8 toys including dildos that I cycle through.
What I find works really good for me is with the first toy I'm using, I'll wait until the involuntary contractions and whatever Os I'm having start to sort of taper off, and then I just have an overall body/mind desire to use another toy. If I've been with that first toy for 5 or more minutes, the second I put the new toy in me it usually triggers the strongest O of the session within 5 to 10 seconds upon insertion. Then all Os after that are very good. I'll reach that O limit with the 2nd toy, then when the 3rd goes in, BLAMMO another super strong/best O of the session, and then those next Os are better than from the first two toys. It just keeps going like this. But what's really neat is when I go back to a previous toy in that session, it feels totally different than it did the first time, and that difference again provokes some Os. Also, I'm usually way wetter/lubed up later in the session than when I first started, so the first or second toy I used just does a lot more later in the session after other toys have cycled through me.
I've done the "stay with same/first toy for a long time" thing plenty of times, but the Os just don't continue to be exciting and powerful. Usually they stop completely. But when I start using a second toy, and toys after that, its always more fun and way more pleasurable!
I always start with Tempo. It gives me a fantastic boost to my sessions. After 30 min, I switch to another model that varies from session to session. I listen to my brain and body. I only change once. If that does’nt make any pleasure, I will stop my session short after
I love your ping-pong analogy. I'm a former paddler myself, and that really cleared away some brush for me.
Thanks much,
