A problem with the tab on the Aneros

ok.. so the the tab that presses against the pereniem is very uncomfortable and sometimes a distraction during each session with my SGX even after 30 mins to an hour of relaxing and trying to find some kind of sweet spot on the pereniem. Is there something/some way to cover the tab with something soft I could wrap around the tap so it's a bit more comfortable? To maybe simulate the feeling of a finger pressing the pereniem instead of a hard nickle size disk-tab?

I know what you mean by the p-tab -- it's like a razor blade! Try covering it with a bulb from an eyedropper.

Yes you can cover the end of the P-tab with something, folded up piece of cloth of toilet paper. But I suspect you maybe doing yourself a disfavor by doing so. In my own recent work with my MGX which I've traditionally mostly found uncomfortable and pokey, I've found that this discomfort forces you to relax as much as possible to remove/get away from the discomfort. And once I've done so, that is where the pleasure starts to take over and grow. So this maybe intentional in design. Something to experiment with.

I agree with Love_is. Found the P-tab on the MGX a real pain at first and solved the problem with the bulb of an eye dropper. However, after a few sessions, I found it was no longer necessary and it hasn't been with any of the other models used since. Relax!

Many of us have found that as we muscle up from sessions or some Kegel exericse, the tab becomes an object of sensual interest.

As Pommie aludes, when we relax into our sessions, the p-tab may just blend in with the rest of the tool and your prostate. It becomes that 'glowing orb' that Alans speaks of on track 1 of Hypnaerosession.

However, as others note, some padding now may speed your transiton into accepting the tab for the job it does.

Gentlemen;

There's been a lot written about P-tab centering on the "sweet spot," P-tab contact, P-tab discomfort, etc, etc. I have to say, I think too much is made of this feature. I know, it is a critical component of the U.S. Patent for the device. However, for many of us, it simply doesn't matter. Take a good look at goldenboyuk's video linked to his thread and note that the P-tab is off-center by a wide margin, and he's obviously having a good time.

My advice: don't obsess about the mechanical details of these devices.

Cheers,

Dave

Where do I go to view "golderboyuk's video?" I'm new and have only had one session (didn't follow any of the instructions beforehand, as couldn't wait after opening the shipment!) It felt great upon insertion, but the more/harder I squeezed my sphincter, the deeper the tab rammed into me. At first I thought this pain was part of the process as everything else felt great. Now that I've taken the time to read some of the recommended readings, I find I did just about everything wrong. But all in all, I enjoyed it! 😉 Video might help.

feelings1;

I can't test the link to goldenboyuk's video since I'm at work. Try this:

goldenboyuk - Aneros ecstacy - XTube - Porn Video

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks for the link. The way I watched it, the tab stayed in place.........It was him that was all over the place. Great advertisement for the Aneros toy.

thanks for the dropper bulb suggestion. It's alot better with the bulb on the tab. Though I'm planning to get a Helix Syn soon

Isn't it interesting how things evolve over time?

I had totally forgotten the opinion I expressed a few posts above and have come to yet a different conclusion!

Those tools that have a large bulb on the end of the P-tab still, (for me), require some form of padding to make them comfortable.

I still use an eye dropper bulb (or something similar) on all of my SGX, MGX and Maximus models and especially as I have recently revisited the SGX and MGX models after a break of several months.

Without the cushioning I find their P-tabs just too aggressive. Just Me?
