Hey, I am making this post for my elder sister. She was cheated by her boyfriend. Her boyfriend posted nude pictures of her on the internet for taking revenge after the break up.

My sister led an unhealthy lifestyle. She was addicted to drugs and used to hang out with random guys. She followed a carefree life and has also created many enemies during her lifetime.

My mother was really unhappy about her. She prayed constantly for her. That has caused some effect. My sister has decided to stop all of her bad habits and return to a normal life. She left the company of her boyfriend. It was he who used to misguide her. When she broke up with him, he posted her nude pictures on the internet.

This was a big shock to my sister. She got fired from her job and she is in a depression now. I am scared to see her in this situation. I fear that she might end up harming herself. I am planning to take her to a mental health center in Toronto.

How can I take her over there? Will she come with me? Any ideas? Please share!

@hubbylov first, welcome to this forum.

In reading your post, it is quite evident your sister needs real professional help. This forum is not the best place to obtain the help she and your entire family needs. Many members are experts at what this community is all about. They are always willing to extend a helping hand to those who need it but the type and level of expertise available is not about the sensitive subjects you outlined in your post.

We do wish you and your entire family the best of luck in getting the professional help for her and your mother. Good luck and good health!

@hubbylov, I agree with @GGringo that this forum is not an appropriate venue for dealing with your sister's problems. Professional family counseling is definitely called for here. The effects of depression can take numerous forms and suicidal thoughts are a real possibility. IMHO, loving, non-judgmental, persuasion may be your best approach to getting her to the therapy she needs. I am wishing you and your sister all the best on the road to a better life path. Good Vibes to You !

Perhaps you should contact the mental health centre requesting ideas on how you can encourage your sister to go to the centre with you. This is definitely an area for professional advice.

I'm a bit late, but I want to say if you see destructive behavior in your family, then find him a good psychologist or an anonymous group
