I got a chance to test drive (as in, get fucked by) the Feeldoe Slim with my wife last night. I was surprised by how different these two similar-looking sex toys are. They fit into the same SpareParts Joque harness. Here's how they stack up:

Wife's Point of View
Her take on the deficiencies of the FunFactory Share are documented in older posts on this thread. In short, Share is too big, too hard, too heavy, wrong angle and lacks clitoral stimulation. The Feeldoe is comfortable, has clitoral contact, built-in vibe, not too heavy and is easier to thrust. She gets more mini-Os per session with the Feeldoe than with the modified Share.

Wife's verdict: "Let's use the Feeldoe."

My POV
The Feeldoe has a very smooth, glossy finish which requires only gel lube (Sliquid Organic, in this trial) to be really slick for an hour. This translates into low-friction at the anus and inside the rectum so there's no "grabbing" during an anal spasm/orgasm. The downside of that is much less of the highly stimulating "dragging" sensation during in and out thrusting than the Share, which requires Vaseline plus a secondary gel lube to avoid excessive friction.

The Feeldoe is about the same 6.5" insertable length as the Share but is a smaller, 1.25" uniform diameter. The Share's taper from a 2" diameter at the base to 1.25" at the tip provides very desirable extra "oomph" when driven in all the way. I didn't get as many mini-Os and dry-Os from Feeldoe as I did with Share -- and no Super-O at all.

Husband's verdict: "Feeldoe is good, but let's use the Share sometimes, too."

As far as the feel of your Feeldoe Slim, that may have to do with it's width being smaller. My Feeldoe More being much larger in width I find can slightly stick once in a while if I'm not careful to relax really well. I find putting a condom on it can help offset that problem as it gives it some give and stretch. Mind you it's usable both ways. Just a different feel. Perhaps one of the larger width models would have been better for you in hindsight. Or maybe even just acclimating to the feel of the Feeldoe Slim over many sessions will help. I mean since you posted about it, it has only been one session. Give it some more practice.

I agree that pegging has a big emotional component. For a newbie, I'd suggest riding on top, cowboy style for starters. Feels good, less "out of control," and positions your dick for easy access by your partner.

The regular size Feeldoe would be too big for me and the Feeldoe More or Stout are unthinkable. We're enjoying the Feeldoe Slim and FunFactory Share a lot. I noticed that our Feeldoe has a barely visible molding seam, which I can't feel when it's inside. For the seam on yours, a condom will work, but be sure to use a non-lubricated one unless you want to test the pre-lubricated condom's lube for silicone compatibility. Some silicone lubes will bond to silicone toys and make the surface permanently gummy.

As for smoothing the seam on your Feeldoe, a super-sharp razor blade will "shave" it and leave a smooth cut. Problem is, avoiding nicking or scraping the area on either side of the seam. I wouldn't take that risk, and I'm pretty good with sharp tools for model making.

What struck me about the survey results was that 17% of the people who responded had done it; been pegger or peggee. That is a similar percentage to the men on this site who responded to my poll about other anal erotic practices by checking the pegging box. Latest update on equipment and another issue...

As many of you know, my wife and I have been on a quest to find a pegging setup that works equally well for both of us. Yesterday, we got the Vixen Double, senior size. For comparison, see the attached photo, below. Although the receiver's end is shorter and wider than the Feeldoe Slim, the Vixen is more comfortable for giver and receiver. My wife likes the feel of her side and I like the feel of mine. I'm getting closer than ever to achieving a wet HFO. The silicone is much softer than Vice or Feeldoe.
