Mental health Spam?

Hi all,

I noticed a new thread today on this sub-forum, skim read it, saw the previous thread from less than a week ago, skim read that one too.

Last thread before that was from 2014.

While the content of the new threads is tragic and I sincerely hope that the posters are real and that they can get the proper and professional care and advice that they need, I am begining to see some spam-like patterns:

- New posters, low post count.
- Both threads contain a multi-word link to a mental help services website
- Not specific to Aneros (although, this has a low "spam weighting" because we tend to discuss any topic that is sexual / relationships anyways).

I don't like to be cynical with this, but... are the new threads basically spam? 🙁
It's the mental health links and the way the links are constructed, that makes me wonder if it's spam.
I see all kinds of spammy posts on other forums so I just seem to have a high amount of suspicion when I see patterns like this.

I'm happy to be be corrected, though.
(Edit: maybe I am overreacting??) What does everyone else think?

@lonewolf8 , I think you may be over reacting. In those cases I am more inclined to err in favor of allowing the posts in case they are genuine appeals for help. There doesn't seem to be any overt attempt to sell a product or push an agenda but it does bare watching out for suspicious posts. I know obvious SPAM posts are quickly taken down from this forum so I wouldn't be too concerned about it as these are pretty rare instances.
Good Vibes to You !

@rumel Ahhh Phew!
It's good that it was just me being paranoid about it. I'm passionately against spam, and I think I can get carried away sometimes.
