There are several models that would be great in stainless steel!  The temperature play that would be opened up with stainless steel massagers would add a lot to the experience.

The Progasm, Progasm Jr., Helix Trident, Maximus Trident, and MGX Trident would all make excellent stainless steel models.  Even the Eupho Trident would be interesting.

So, when will we see something coming out in stainless steel?

Yes, I agree; i suppose what I would love about it is the smoothness; I mean you hardly need lube with the tempo.  Love that.  Of course, these would be difficult to make I imagine; and super expensive.  But I'd buy in a second.

@butters it definitely would be expensive. The great thing about the tempo is that it is symmetrical: needing only machining on a lathe. Manufacturing a curved, asymmetrical massager would pretty much require CNC machining from a billet. My other problem would be wanting to show off the polished stainless beauty that a eupho or helix would be. Weight would be an issue as well. If you had the kegel strength to hold in a SS progasm, you could probably crush it, lol.

While we have long considered making stainless steel versions of our products there are number of factors that work against it. POBro outlined two of them.  By the far, the largest issue concerns what the effect of using a heavy, dense material would do to the action and responsiveness of our massagers.  Our assessment is that it would render them into nothing more than butt plugs. Even the Eupho, the thinnest and most responsive model we make, would be transformed into something unwieldy and lumbering.  You're all right about one thing however....it would be very cool to look at !

Aneros team, I would buy a stainless steel version of the Progasm.  I know it costs more and I would pay more.

There is now a fancy new device, called the Freutoy, which is produced by 3D printing stainless steel; it could also be lost wax cast in two hollow pieces, then welded together and polished.  It would still be expensive, but lighter.  Could even insert weighted balls inside for extra stimulation.

@badger Agreed, 3D printed metal would work wonders by reducing net weight while allowing a steel finish though wonder whether it would actually be any different from the hard plastic versions….
