Is there any way to contact a forum member by email? The member I'd like to contact hasn't posted here in 7 years, so I thought if I could just send him an email, it might have a better chance of success.
Are there forum moderators who could facilitate this request? For instance, if in their official capacity as Aneros forum representatives, they could forward my email address to him, letting him know that I have a question for him, and he could reply if he so chooses?
Or if it would be allowed as an exception, simply forwarding his contact email to me and I could write to him from there?
The forum member in question was very knowledgeable about an Aneros-adjacent subject, and I had a question for him.
Thank you.
P.S. Or do members receive a notification by email when they receive a private message on here? If that's the case, then maybe I could try a PM despite all the years that have passed.
When you send a private message to a member via Aneros site, the recipient usually gets a copy on his registered personal email.
I'll send you onevto tedt it.
Thank you for your help. Yes, that worked, I received a copy via email. I'll try to get in touch with him by PM then. Many thanks to you!
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to type a PM to anyone.
Click on his @name, it will take you to his profile. On the grey bar, you'll see the envelope icon. Click on it and write your message in the bottom box.
Good luck
