WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ANEROS?

I wish there was an Other catagory for modified or off brands.
It would be hard to call My favorite a Helix anymore.

The modifications poll sounds like a good idea to me. It's certainly a topic that discussed often enough. I've been waiting to see if the webmaster is going to create a different section for the polls prior to making another one. Hopefully we should know something soon on that one.

I didn't just go ahead with the poll because I agree with 'onthepath' that I think the polls need to be well reasoned, meaningful and structured to be statstically correct moving forward in time. I think persons such as yourself, 'darwin' , 'Pan', et.al. (longtime veterans), would constitute good moderator/filters for fine tuning/tweaking proposed poll questions. Also, I would suggest that the polls either be their own "Sticky" or a category "The Polls" occuring immediately after "The Blogs". With the advent of private messaging, you moderators could easily discuss the issues amongst yourselves, before obtaining some consensus for poll posting. This way the General Discussion Forum isn't impacted. I think that your first poll question is one that definetly needs to stay on the first page so that new users and returning vets can vote on, rather than have it slowly fade into disuse just because the currently active community responders have already voted and are thereby locked out. Since you really are the most respected contributor to this forum, I am sure YOUR opinion will carry more weight with the Aneros support personel than mine (just as it should be).

With respect to the polls having their own section, it seems like a must to me. The fact is that the way that it is currently configured, the only way for the poll to remain near the top of the forum or even on the first page is if someone posts a response to the thread. Voting does nothing to change it's position in the forum! No question, if the poll is to have any value it must be seen. So this has to be changed.

In regards to a review process for the polls, I'm all for that as well. For this to have value for us all, poll topics and parameters need to be well considered. I like the idea of forum members submitting their ideas for polls though. I think it would be great to credit such members when a poll is finally created.

I have already discussed some of these issues with the webmaster and he is committed to making this forum the best that it can be. Right now, I know that they're swamped trying to get the "bugs" out of it....one in particular involves the infernal flow of spam. I think that we should see some action in the coming weeks that involves fine tuning and tweaking the individual features.

By the way, I thank you for the compliment, but there is one thing that I want to correct. The Aneros support staff appreciates input from everyone here. This forum and this community is larger than any one person, it is unique because we have a great group of people that care and share. I've always maintained that the experience itself, the Super O, has a hand in this. I believe that it very often brings about profound changes in people.

Thanks for the update/information, I certainly agree that there are some very sincere and caring people sharing their thoughts and techniques regarding the Aneros product and related issues of use, I also agree that the super-O can provide an attitude change in a number of people, I know that IT certainly rocked my world view.

I voted Progasm because thats my favorite unmodified one. The Helix is my favorite but it's modified, unmodified it's probably my 5th or least favorite.
So maybe this pole should be whats your favorite unmodified model and then have a whats your favorite modified model.
So many people have posted that they modify their aneros that grouping them together gives a skewed poll.
I wonder which model gets modified the most?

I don't believe I have ever posted to the forum. I did have a blog that I started late spring, or early summer 07, but think it's been removed because of lack of use. I didn't want to post negative experiences to the whole group feeling there are way more negative users then positive ones.

My journey started with the Helix. I had no luck at all with it. Maybe because I do have anal experience with the real thing if you know what I mean. I'm not gay, or bi, but I am very bi curious. I believe it is a very natural feeling in both sexes. Some of us accept, and some don't, no problem!

I kept up reading the forum, and using my Helix for months now. Total frustration finally set in, and was very upset with myself that I had spent so much money on a blob of plastic when I could have just bought a cheap plug. Reading the forum convinced me to buy a Progasm, one more last try. The new device arrived yesterday, 09/11/07. I looked at it, and became depressed just as I was when I opened the Helix, too small, and not what I'd expected from reading the forum. Most posts make it sound huge. The Helix is a toothpick, and the Progasm is a little smaller then the real average guy. I even lost my interest in trying it out right away when it arrived. Through it on the table! During the day it kept calling me, "give me the chance"! I gave in, and just to start it out right, I lubed my Helix, and used it about 20 minuets. When it felt there was no longer anything up there, I super lubed the Progasm, went in without a hitch, and truly felt that something was there. I didn't expect much. Leaving it in a little over an hour I came to realize that I was trying to hard, squeezing and clamping down without results. Again disappointed I removed it deciding on tomorrow. I went to sleep that night wishing it were still up there, and awoke this A.M. with that same feeling, however I didn't give in!

After completing my morning routines, coffee, the dog, and emptying my self I decided to go for it again. I didn't need all the lube I had used yesterday, and the Progasam went in again without a hitch. I so loved the feeling, and right away knew it had hit the prostrate. Kind of like the feeling you get when the doctor first touches it. I can say forsure that I did not get the super O during this two + hour experience, nor would I even call the feelings mini O's. I'd say they were mini P's, allot of them! I was affraid to move, changing positions of any part of me, felt so damn good!Totally blew away all the controlled beathing stuff, or contractions of the PC. I just sat so still. Progasm took over all control as in "Outer Limits"! It was like I wasn't in my mind, or body Such a pleasant, blissful feeling throughout all of me coming in small waves.

I now truly believe that as Frank would sing, "The Best is Yet to Come"! I had to exit my fun because my bladder became too ful. May also be another key as that pressure was pushing against my prostrate. I will go for it again this evening, and give an update. I promise I wont type this long type of message again, just wanted to explain the whole experience.

Progasm way out front with the MGX and Helix in a statistical deadheat. Keep those votes coming!

I haven't tried them all as I only have the MGX and Helix. Between the two it is tough because they have different properties and ways they make me feel. The Helix will give me very long constant orgasms over hours with no culmination. The MGX makes me feel great and will do some of what the Helix does, but at times it will finish me with a full blown all over body shaking orgasm / ejaculation of prostate fluid.

Looks like I am missing out on the Progasm though. Actually today I had an incredible orgasm. I was using the Helix and MGX, but put my finger on the accupressure spot that the Progasm also hits that the other models don't. It was a bit tough to touch that spot for long, but after awhile I could tell the difference. Very nice additional stimulation / sensations doing this.
