Is coconut really 'safe' to use with the Aneros Helix Syn? I've always believed that oils in generally doesn't go well with silicone toys. But obviously, many here appear to use coconut oil... somewhat confusing. What's the truth? 🙂

The truth is natural oils are completely compatible with silicone toys. It is any lube which contains silicone as a component which poses a danger to silicone toys. The reason behind this is that the silicone molecules have a great affinity for each other and the lube can permanently bond itself to the silicone toys surface, effectively ruining it by making it permanently tacky, picking up dust and debris and making it impossible to keep clean.
Good Vibes to You !

Late add-on. Unrefined Coconut Oil seems to also be great in one's mouth as well as in the anal canal.

Check: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4382606/

I stumbled across this in early February, gave it a try and am getting the best-ever reports from my Dental Hygienist. Plaque is minimal and gum condition great. I'm only six weeks into this oral hygiene approach but think it may reduce my bills from the Dentist enough to buy that nJoy wand.

I continue to add shea butter to Coconut Oil when I make a batch of lube sticks (suppositories). The shea butter raises the melting point closer to body temp so they are easier to insert.

Using a water bottle ice tray I gently melt shea butter in microwave. Once liquid I mix 50-50 with coconut oil. Usually make two sticks half full. Then it is frozen. After frozen using a butter knife divide into pieces, about six each. Then they are kept frozen in a plastic bag.

I coat my Aneros with shea butter. To begin I get a frozen piece and insert up to the prostate. Because they are frozen they insert like a suppository. My body melts some on insertion and I use my finger to spread oil over the shea butter coated Aneros. Then I insert Aneros.

Both the coconut oil and shea butter are good for your skin as they don't contain additives. Have used for all night sleeping and have had no problems with dryness nor sticking.

Hello, new here and wanted to ask a couple questions about lubes. I am considering making my own custom suppositories for pre-lubrication and was wondering what mixes/mixtures of components have seemed to work best? I have shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax, and olive oil on hand for ingredients. Also, what "size" of suppository would be ideal? For example, would a physical size of 1/2" diameter x 1.0" length be a proper size? Or any suggestions on size by volume or comparison would also be helpful..? Also, depending on the size, how many are inserted for adequate lubrication.? I have read numerous posts on this subject and have found some bits of information here and there, and I was hoping to gather some of this information from other users so it may be easier to find in the future. !
Thanks for reading and I would welcome any and all suggestions..! 🙂

Sorry, old thread. Last night I froze my helix syn and smeared some coconut oil on it. Lubed my butt with a couple finger shoves and launched it in. It was... unusual, not unpleasant though. Coconut oil is really messy, but it sure makes my nutsack and cock feel soft!

Having not read every single post on this thread, I apologize if this has been answered before. But why not use the lube that's offered by Aneros? I ordered the 8 oz container of it with my Helix Syn order just now.

Vaseline is just very convenient. I have also used Coconut oil before. Interested in trying Shea butter

I make a lube with xanthan gum that I learned about from the fleshlight community. Here's one recipe:

-1/2 teaspoon of xanthan gum powder
-3 teaspoons of glycerin (optional, for texture)

Mix xanthan gum in glycerine or warm water until the powder dissolves

As more water, bringing the total to ½ cup (4 oz)

This stuff spoils in a couple days at room temperature. To make it keep longer before spoiling, as a preservative like ½ tsp salt or citric acid
