Hi guys,
As many of you know, I began my Aneros journey in early June 2012. It has been a very fun and pleasurable journey, with Super-O's, MMO's, mini-O's, P-waves, and tons of Aless (which I can excite just by diddling my nipples), along the way.
I just love what the Aneros does for me in my sessions, but also for a long time, I have looked upon my sessions as an athletic activity, much like working out in routine at a gym. Afterwards, I have Aless which is both sweet and powerful, but also sublime.
We all know from recent history that the prostate has been viewed as a gland, but in recent months, I feel that I am exercising my prostate as a muscle in my Aneros sessions. This idea is seconded when I perform my Kegels both during my sessions and certainly in Aless.
Please read the article published by the U.S. National Library of Medicine:

Please vote in this poll on the following question: Is the prostate a gland or a muscle, or both?
Please feel free to add your comments and experiences on this question, say how you view your prostate and how you interact with it.
Thanks!
I have seen it described as a "muscular gland".
The prostate is a gland but also contains some " smooth muscles " to help expel the semen so both is correct answer.
not got a prostate lost to cancer still got the nerves so sum good . so i think its muscle in and around otherwise wate have i been exercising ?
Best described as a gland so it can be treated delicately to provide those amazing orgasims we all love

I believe so, @joneskennk! So I encourage you to continue your Aneros sessions!
I wish to thank all who have participated in this poll and all the comments so far.
I also like very much @goldenboy's description of the prostate as a "muscular gland." 😉
