Why was the purpose of OP's question? Is not the poll an inquiry as to whether the Aneros can change one's sexual orientation? This has nothing to do with labeling. It's odd when one questions certain things, one is deemed HOMOPHOBIC or CLOSETED. One's sexuality is one's sexuality, as well as one's business. Why would ass play mean a straight man is open to being with a man?

What is being implied is that a TRULY STRAIGHT MAN CANNOT PLAY WITH HIS ASS WITHOUT SECRETLY YEARNING TO BE WITH A MAN (with or without tits). Is this not true? That's why some become highly miffed if a man enjoys pegging. They cannot grasp why he would not want to try a man's penis.

The matter was summed up concisely by @Ehm.

You see that implication, I see another. That's all! Everyone can have their own implications here. Its when someone says that their implication is the only one that I wonder why.

It seems to be the rage today, at least in Western societies, that homosexuality isn't a disease that it is just a sexual orientation....and I completely agree but then if you make the same claim about pedophilia people(even gays) get angry, I find this strange. If the reaction is based on how repulsive you find the idea...I think that's the reason homosexuality has been illegal for a long time coz the majority found the idea so repulsive...and as a heterosexual I'm still undecided which image I'd find more repulsive. I think it depends on what age one would consider something pedophilia and this isn't determined by the onset of puberty or the age at which they have sexual thoughts and desires but more arbitrarily

So when it's homosexuality:-
"If you're truly accepting of homosexuality would you allow your children to become bisexual".
But when it's pedeophilia:-
"You don't have a choice in the matter what you're attracted to".
@Ehm. Do you realize what you appear to be implying here..?

@Ehm, thank you for adding depth to the thread.
Perhaps the knowledge of the ancients arose due more wisdom less moral confusion.
Sure people got hurt but more so today.
A New Zealand Baptist pastor wrote ".. A righteous government would put all homosexuals to death" see 'West Australian' newspaper 9 Dec 14 World news section.

Whaaaaat? @Ehm, it has to do with consent! What do you mean "Even Gays get angry?" We, as a society, have a duty to protect children. Children can't give consent because they are not mature enough to do so! No matter how much they think they are. You as an adult, should not be persuaded by a child but to help protect them and to help them make better decisions!
Homosexuality is natural. It occurs in many aspects of the animal kingdom, no matter how much it may offend heterosexuals. BTW, I am a heterosexual, I'm not attracted to men. I used to find it offensive but I grew up! I still find it odd, but that's only because I don't find men sexually attractive! Just like I find ingesting brains or organ meats odd because it does not appeal to me.

"At one point all homosexuality was illegal and the age wasn't so much a big thing and feminism has made adult consent a strange thing anyway, like if you lie about how much money you've got and you have sex with a woman and she finds out you lied she can charge you with rape. And yes I'm a heterosexual but when you see a woman's adult consent tied up with money I can understand the predicament of pedophiles all the better. You don't have a choice in the matter what you're attracted to."

@EHM, WTF.........., if you are charged with rape for lying about money, she is lying!!! That can happen to any person anyway. It doesn't make it right. How does this help you to understand the predicament of pedophiles????

Just to be clear, yes pedophilia is about a young person's inability to give consent to sex with a older person, not about a sexual attraction between adults. Pedophilia is a crime and a psychiatric disorder. The overwhelming majority of pedophiles are heterosexual. Therefore, @ehm, the more accurate statement would be "even straight men get angry over pedophilia." Pedophilia has nothing to do with homosexuality. A few homosexuals and a few heterosexuals advocate for pedophiles as a legitimate sexual orientation but I strongly disagree with them. See http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-report/browse-all-issues/2010/winter/10-myths.

I am sorry, but this is nonsense. Pedophiles are not mainly attracted to adults of other sex (i.e. heterosexuals) nor adults of same sex (i.e. homosexuals), they are mainly attraced to children (with usually little regard for gender). This three categories are either undefined (no real preference) or mutually exclusive.

Now the question of which of these sexual orientations constitute a psychiatric disorder or not (if any of this could be proven) is a totally different subject and a dodgy one.

What @Ehm wrote is at times a bit unrefined but mostly interesting to consider. People tend to hide everything that makes them uneasy under the carpet. Nature doesn't care for our insecurities.

@Canacun,
I would argue that what you are spouting is complete nonsense! Pedophiles are mostly men while the victims are mostly boys. Pedophilia is an attack. It has ruined many lives. It is primarily having power over another human being! It is rape. Are you next going to sympathize with rapists?
This Thread has deteriorated into justifying an atrocity against children. It has become nauseating! I, for one, will no longer be following this thread. Pedophilia is not a societal insecurity. That is complete and utter nonsense.

Interesting case of quiproquo.

First, I was calling something nonsense, not in a confrontational spirit but in a friendly one, for Euph and I are friends (even though we strongly disagree on some other friendships).

Second, I didn't advocate for nor sympathise with anybody here. Mainly trying to answer the "pedophiles are not gay because they are mostly straight"... Which is both based on wrong numbers and simply nonsensical.

Third, I will have to disagree with you on the "victims being mostly boys". Statistics indicate otherwise, even when trying to substract incest (which often seems not associated with pedophilia even though the act is the same). But on most declared or suspected pedophiles being men, numbers would say you're right.

If that need be said: i condemn every act of pedophilia.

I'd be interested to understand what induced these misunderstandings.

@Canacun,

Sorry if I misunderstood. I guess I was still emotional about some of @Ehm's comments. I thought you were supporting his theories.

If that is not the case, my sincerest apologies!

I'll see if I can dig up some stats on the boy/girl victims!

@canacan, children have genders and pedophiles tend to prefer children of one gender over the other and identity themselves as heterosexual or homosexual. I was trying to clarify a common slur against homosexuals that got lumped in this thread. I agree with you on the rest. I regret how this thread has gotten hijacked. Pedophilia is a hot button issue.

@euphemistic I'd be interested to have your opinion on the article I linked.

P.S. : I must confess I didn't find the webmd link you posted very convincing. Makes it sound like somebody has the definite answer and it is short and simple... Sorry not to me. Also pedophilia at age 13? We have all known girls who already had adult bodies at that age. But I noted a sensible comment in the end : pedophiles might lie about their sexuality to seem a little less alien.

Interesting, Cantor was my reference too 🙂

it's indeed a complex hot button issue. The article doesn't contradict anything I've written. As I said I regret that pedophilia was dumped into this already muddied thread. I won't have anything more to say about it.

How many straight men who use Aneros have become curious about or interested in gay sex or gay porn?

Stop the madness, perhaps we can agree that for some guys the experience of using the Aneros devices and having your prostrate stimulated can be a real game changer. I use to be a card carrying homophobe until my eyes were opened by the use of the Aneros devices stroking my prostate.

The Macho men have nothing to fear about turning “gay” (what ever that label means) if they chose not to, nor do they have to worry about gay guys hitting on them or trying to flip them if they don't want to. Also a very in-depth study reports approximately 30% of gay guys have anal sex, so Mr. Macho man who is not having anal sex you just might be gay 🙂

Now keep in mind your sexual status can change based on your experiences. No new experiences no sexual status changes.

Relax and enjoy, whether the Aneros experience peaks a new interest or not is entirely up to you but I will not deny that it impacted me!

@J2_0

Maybe, just like many homophobes you were just a super closeted gay man all the time. As of me, and many others I know, I never had a thing against gays. I am just mostly indifferent to same sex (neither attracted nor repulsed be it porn or real life or transexuals or whatever) and extremely attracted to the other sex.

But where I most strongly differ with you is I don't care one bit for others preferences and influencing them about said preferences. I am happy for you being so happy about your change but please don't force it on others. Not that you are super aggresive with it but it still feels a bit wrong.

The main point I was trying to make was that 50 years ago and in many places still today homosexuality was seen pretty much like pedophilia is today, a disease(check out the Imitation Game just in case youre unfamiliar with what homosexuals, even highly respected ones were put thru). Now people always say:"So you think it's ok that pedophiles go around raping children?", I'm a heterosexual, I don't have a girlfriend, so does that automatically imply that I go around raping women? They're are of course heterosexuals that do and probably homosexuals as well, but the way I see it rape has nothing to do with the sex you want and hence the love you feel for whatever you're attracted to. Rape is an act of violence!
People often say to me:"why don't you just go to a prostitute?, a healthy man with healthy desires, come on everybody needs sex", to me prostitution is a type of rape, but sanctioned, a bit like war and killing. If something is only not rape coz you exchange money, it's still rape IMO
And again if society sanctions for one sexuality IMO it should do it for all. Coz if one party has to pay for something like sex that should be enjoyed by both parties, then something is seriously wrong. What then is the difference to paying a child to have sex? 'Here take some money so you can endure this sex'.
i.e. take some money so what would otherwise be rape is ok.

And then you hear of these examples of how very different women approach sex. One case of a Palestinian man who had sex with an Israeli woman, who lied about being Jewish, retrospectively being charged with rape and sentenced to almost a year in prison. In the US men lying about how much money they made a year and being charged with rape.
Or the usual headlines, how shopping ranks highest on a woman's list and even reading more enjoyable than sex. Or ' I don't need a man, I earn my own income and am handy in the house'
So from those perspectives I could almost justify the pedophile who exchanges something a child desires, love, protection, gifts(sound familiar?) for sexual acts, something the man desires.

I didn't mean to say homosexuals are like pedophiles, heterosexuals are more like pedophiles; man and women being of a very different nature, but just from the perspective of how people have been persecuted for their sexuality....maybe that's just how it works with people. The lowest class instead of being more understanding of the new lowest class is often more fierce in their contempt than their 'betters'.

And sexual energy IMO is of vital importance, it has to remain cultivated, regardless of sexuality. If you have a sexual relationship this is easy to do, but if you don't you might lose your desire completely.
Seeing sexual acts is enough to stimulate and cultivate the sexual energy. For me it's almost inconceivable not having porn. Then I think of my pedophile brethren who, for just possessing child porn are sentenced for years in prison. I know the argument why this is justified, but still, it's a 'sunk cost', the damage has already been done. Also I don't like the idea, your life could be ruined if someone sent you childporn, or if you accidentally downloaded it. People probably already hate me for defending pedophiles. I obviously wouldn't do this in real life, only when my anonymity is guarded, coz even defending them is looked upon with suspicion, 'only a pedophile would defend pedophiles' I don't have this groupthink it's probably why I don't have a gf in the first place.
So are people even going to suggest, with the technology that we have today, to supply pedophiles with computeranimated childporn? obviously not, the person suggesting it would soon be ostracized.

And when thinking about porn I realize there are again points of contact with normal porn.
How popular are the large cock in tight pussy genre (every cock is large in a child's pussy)
Women that sound girly, helpless, vulnerable(self explanatory)

In porn again, everything

@Ehm. I didn't finish reading yet, no offense no attack, but you don't seem to understand what rape is.

I understand your point about prostition (even though it applies very differently depending on womens, situations etc) but calling it rape in general, no way. I met quite a few victims of rape, it is a very specific thing. Try and see it from a women's perspective (hint: you didn't).

Ok, finished reading. You have a few points but obviously are very confused yourself and end up writting some nonsense (plus sure to offend people). The thing about voices for one is particularly twisted. I guess some ordering in your life would be needed. Sorry.

OK Gents! But I just don't see what any of this has to do with Aneros activity. IMO all this is all way off topic and not really relevant!

I wouldn't say this is off topic, 'curious' about what?

I can understand how some men would like something warm, throbbing and pulsating up the ass after experiencing the Aneros, but that's where my understanding ends. For me it's not a woman with a dick, but a man with breasts. And since my predicament is that I'm attracted to women my fantasies are a lot more convoluted concerning anal sex as I can't see the protuberance separate from the rest(of the maleness).
What has however happened since using the Aneros is that, whereas in the past and as is probably typical of males for obvious reasons(seeing fertility, waist to hips ratio etc)the visual was paramount, the auditory aspect has become a lot more important. Now if a woman has a really ugly voice or doesn't know how to moan even if she looks sexy I can't get turned on by it.
And I regard myself as fairly typical heterosexually speaking and this being the case this change seems more likely in other heterosexuals as well. MORE likely than becoming attracted to maleness.

Two experiences that have since coloured my 'curiosity'. The first was a wet dream that told me quite a lot about myself. I can't really remember much but I was on a train and the cabin filled with (presumably) underaged girls who were acting very slutty and sounded very sexy. One started rubbing her foot against my shoe and I woke up...with cum in my pants.
The second was a while back. I was sitting on the balcony in the summer and the daughter of the neighbour was talking with her friend. And the friend had a really sexy voice and sounded very slutty and I could feel myself get very aroused. In retrospect I wish I had the balls to ask her to make a sex scene sound recording, but rationally I'm obviously glad I didn't. She was underage and even if she'd agree I'd be making pedo porn.
Don't get me wrong I'm still attracted to the female form of a fully grown woman visually speaking, but that voice....damn. So on topic that's a type of curiosity that makes more sense to me.
And just like a beautiful woman can become ugly with an ugly voice a 'plain' woman can become sexy with a sexy voice, and I'm sure this is something that can be learnt....at an early stage.
I think you could even make a comedy about a Wunderkind with a voice that can make men cum in their pants. Imagine a child with a voice making porn sounds...like Mozart with music it just comes naturally to her.
So this isn't off topic, I'm really curious how underage girls would sound doing the voice over, there is a certain overlap, like men with tits or (ok) women with dicks and especially since Aneros makes you more receptive to the auditory side I think this type of pedo curiosity makes more sense.

Porn as it is now tries to make women sound like men, pedo porn is outlawed so you can't get young females at their best. As women grow older and work with men and/or do mens' jobs. It isn't strange that women lose their femaleness. And what sounds more feminine than a slutty young underage girl/woman?

@Canacan: I recently saw the Monty Python sketch about this man paying someone to argue with him and although this is quite funny and most people think it is, what's really hilarious and even more bizarre when you think about it is someone paying for sex.
Yet this doesn't strike anybody as surrealistic
BTW: in your opinion , knowing what you think you know about what women consider rape, is a prostitute raped when the customer doesn't pay?

No, and I doubt that there is any connection. That's like saying you can "turn" gays straight by showing them pictures of naked women. Gladly the times of "gay therapy" are coming to an end and making assumptions that you can turn straights bi sounds just as weird.
