Do you shave your perineum?

Hair remover, from Avon, I heard my cousins talking Avon one day and the hair remover came up, I tried it, rub on, wipe off with a moist washcloth. Easy.... Do not use "Nair" it will burn you as it has a different compound at work.

But I so recommend the Avon. I also use it around the base of my shaft.

60 - Have been shaving down there for a few years. Followed starting to upgrade my underwear and tried some of the thongs and strings for men. Discovered two things - they don't look good with loads of hair sprouting out and they you can't wear them if you let your weight get out of control. So started to shave.

I use Mach 3 and also Fusion (5 blades). Best results always when having soaked in a bath. I tend to have a quick shave every third day. I do not shave body hair - my wife likes to do the trimming for me (back and shoulders and chest) She knows how she likes me to look.

Certainly helps to keep a sensitivity and clean feel - quite like the look too.

25 - I prefer getting a professional brazilian wax. The skin stays smooth and hair free for an average of 3 weeks and there is no itchiness when the hair grows back. It can be a bit pricy which is the onl downfall but I feel that the results are worth the cost.

i use hair removal cream it is for a womans bikini area but i have been using it for years with no problems it stays super smooth for days 😉

😀 I actually pluck my scrotum and have for over 20 years. I trim my pubes very close and use clippers on my anus and perinium. 😉 My wife loves it!

I just tried shaving perinium and around my anus. Never done it before, feels really neat and smooth back there.

I guess I should include my age, I'm 24.

I'm OK with crotch hair in the cooler months and savor the sensations available from each hair follicle.

Last summer I got in a battle with a case of persistent jock itch. Members on the forum grabbed me by the horns and got me in the habit of saving, tail bone to balls. Cure was quick.

I'm now dedicated to shaving June thru mid-October.

Have you had any trouble with ingrown hairs? The possibility of ingrowns keeps me from getting waxed. That being said, I've plucked the hairs on my shaft with no problems.

I shaved my anus once a long time ago when I was a teen. I'm now 31. I liked how it feels but don't like the regrowth. I'm tempted to try again though after reading these posts. I've been wondering about waxing my anus, perineum, and chest? but I haven't waxed before so feel a little shy and unsure.

As it is now, I occasionally trim my pubic hair, but only like once or twice a year. When I lived in Colombia I kept them trimmed a lot shorter and maintained them that way on account of the heat. thats me.

I am 64. I shave all under and really enjoy the extra sensitivity of no hair.

I use a Mangroomer electric shaver and sometimes use baby powder with cornstarch as a dryer/lubricant and it really helps.

The Mangroomer is also waterproof and can be used in the bath or shower but do NOT try to use it as a face shaver, it will not work well on the stiffer hair of my face.

My wife (63) enjoys having me shave her with the Mangroomer. At our age we finally discovered that the younger generation has some 'better ideas' than us older folks.

I learned many years ago to use cornstarch on heat rash of the underarms and it works great on all areas. Talcum powder tends to get 'gummy' when it gets damp so I avoid it entirely.

For the non-shavers in the group, it's that time of year again for those in the northern climes. The fungusamongus aren't mushrooms !!!

What a great poll. I for a long time thought I was in a minority when it came to shaving and trimming body hair. I've been shaving/trimming my body hair for approximately 30 years. Use a razor around the penis and genital area. Trim all the rest with a Convair body hair trimmer.

At first I use to shave my most areas with a razor, but it caused to much irritation as many of you have mentioned. But by using the body hair trimmer, I can cut as close as I want by using the different attachments, or no attachment at all, especially around the anus.

I've for many years enjoyed neat, clean and well groomed body hair around my privates. By the way, I'm 54 and feel better all around than when I was 30. Thanks for a great forum to share on.

I shave everything except a small patch about an inch above my penis. Im 35 and Ive been shaving since I was 17 or so. I use a razor and wax myself occasionaly. My bikini areas are always a real pain I get ingrowns constantly even if I wax. Id love to get a brazillian laser job at some point but for men its extremely expensive.

2010: Had been quite pleased with a shaved perineum and how it played with my p-tabbed plastic tools. Fewer Jock Itch hazards

The 2011 modification:

1-- Every thing that's not sun-tanned. (I wear medium boxer trunks.)
2-- Armpits clean and nips trimmed to just a short stubble (tickle factor is superb !! :O 🙂
3-- All my electro-stim 'trode-points.'
4-- Anything else my wife wants to do -- she runs the razor

I put I shave the perineum, but that was the 1st time. I shaved it with the beard trimmer of an electric razor only coz the hair got in the way of the 'p' tab and it nicked the old 'no mans land'.
I saw an ad' in a newspaper or mag a while ago (aimed at women). This electric gadget gets rid of hair by mild friction, in the same way an electric sander works, but hopefully not as rough.
I shaved the pubes and chest a few times but the itching was a killer.

I used to shave but I discovered waxing and I get waxed on a regular basis. I dont suffer from ingrown hairs and I find it grows back softer without any prickly sensation.
Plus the benefits from waxing immediately after are amazing.

I don't shave. I actually like the feeling and sight of pubic hair on myself and other men who I'm having sex with. Would someone tell me why they shave down there, what they get out of it? I know some women don't like the feel of men's facial hair so the man would shave off their beards, is it something like that or is it a personal preference?

Okay, I get it, it feels cooler and the hairs don't get in the way of the aneros. I'm 66 and have silky pubic hair so it's not an issue for me or my sex partners. Some men have very thick curly hair down there with thick hairshafts which I can imagine would give them trouble. I personally like that kind of hair and I like the smell of it too, turns me on. Do any gay men here shave down there? I've seen it but haven't asked them why.

Well I use to shave everything down there cause I thought it looked more appeasing when my partners went down there. But now I shave in the summer cause of the heat but since it's getting cold I like the little stubble down there. I just have to make sure its extra clean down there.

Stubble is the trouble ...I shaved a couple times years ago but didn't like it when it was growing back.
