YES! lubes?

And no, it's not a pun or play on words! There is a company in England called Yes! that makes lubes that are organic and very minimal in ingredients. I have had to succumb to the startling and extremely sad/upset reality that my days of dry Os and super Os might be a thing of the past 🙁

I needed to get more Astroglide sensitive skin gel 2 months ago, and ordered a 2-pack on amazon. Before I did, however, I tried to look at other sites online, mainly cheaplubes.com that I normally get all my lubes from. They didn't carry it. Odd, they have EVERY lube in the world. All the local drugstore sites also didn't have it. So, of course Amazon did, and I ordered.

I'm ready for a session, expect it to go as it normally would (dry Os within minutes, at least one super O to take me away for the night) and the first thing I notice when I'm lubing up for a quick bulb enema cleaning is a slightly warm sensation. Not natural, but brought on by the lube. After a nice flush, I lube up extensively and move to my room.

On the way it is almost an uncontrollable burning/heating sensation from inside me. PANIC!!! This can't be. I look at the ingredients and notice things I've not noticed before, with any lube I've ever used in over 20 years:

Caprylyl Glycol?
Caprylhydroxamic Acid??
Lactic Acid??!?!

ACID?!?! In my ass!?!?! WHY ASTROGLIDE WHYYYYYYYY

I decide to go through with my session. Instantly the silicone toys I use don't slide as freely, they get a little "stuck." I have dry Os but nothing close to a super. I decide to end my session at least 20 minutes short and at about 15 minutes I coax out a delightful (as usual) super-T. I'm done and an hour later the hot sensation finally subsides.

At this point, however, I'm extremely down. What am I going to do now? I've relied on this specific lube for years now with my anal play, and when they made the sensitive skin and took out the parabens, etc., I was even more happy and it worked even better. I never tried this shit ass lube again and decided to review it online on Astroglide's website.

In small print at the top I noticed "New and Improved Formula" and about died. Improved? NOT! Well wouldn't you know it but there were a few other complaints about burning. Two days later I got an email from their PR person, a nice woman, who wanted me to call her office to talk to her directly. She wanted to know my feelings more in depth, the sensations/problems, and also what I use it for "to direct me to a product that more suits my needs." I wrote back and said I'd call, but my schedule didn't allow for it and I never did; it's been over a month since she wrote me.

The thing is is that there isn't another Astroglide product that will work, and all of them have been changed with these new ingredients. I spent days combing the internet and finally found that Yes! company. I wrote them and told them all about my needs and they assured me it would be fine.

I got their Yes! But anal gel that is actually pH balanced specifically for the anal canal (the pH in both the rectum and vagina are quite different and lubes are manufactured either with or without this in mind). It is extremely slick, thick enough to last, and worked great with my plastic-based toys!!!! The silicone toys, not so well, but I think with time and more experimentation I can make them work.

Needless to say, I'm still a bit upset. Give me my old astroglide Sen. skin gel, and a toy, ANY toy, and my body is cranking out a dry O and several more within the first 3-5 minutes of any session. But now, I'll have that hint of doubt that can hopefully not cloud my ability to have super Os. I waited 10 solid years before any auto-orgasms from from prostate, and now THIS?!?!?

I wish coconut oil and shea butter works on me. But they don't and I've tried multiple times. Y'all have such great success, I don't know why I don't.
What brand of coconut oil works good with both plastic and silicone prostate toys? and what brands of shea butter?

I just hope the next time my wife pegs me the lube will hold up, girl is a beast and wants to give it to me a LOT!!!

I've been using probe lube lately. 4 ingredients. Iso-osmolar, and pH neutral.

Hmm looks like a bunch of Yes! lubes contain Citric Acid.... run away.. runn...

Also... the country you are refering to is the UK. Saying England is like saying... "Los Angeles, Eastern US".

I'm surprised their lubes dont contain Polyethylene oxide. Hmm, i'll have to try some.

@yankeecowboy I used some Probe many years ago until I found out that J-lube / k-lube is the same "stuff" (plastics polymers) and was cheaper to get the powder and mix it up myself than get the ready-made stuff. The lube felt great 🙂
