Will my urologist know?

I started my Aneros journey last April, probably average 3x/week with the Eupho Syn or HIH950. Well the time has come for me to visit my urologist, just wondering if the good Dr. will know that "something's up" (my butt, that is ), while performing a DRE? At this point-in-time I'd like to keep my Aneros usage to myself (yeah I know, prudish, right?). I do have BPH, and take Flomax.

I also had blood drawn for a PSA test, but didn't have sex/use Aneros for 72 hrs. before it was drawn.

Thoughts, anyone?

Highly unlikely unless you have somehow caused some abrasions to the outside of your anus by your Aneros use, which is also unlikely given that you probably use a lot of lube

IMHO, you are worried about something that is totally inconsequential. First, there's no way your good Dr. will know you've been playing with your butt unless you've done some physical damage to it or you tell her/him and if you've been using your Aneros properly that hasn't happened. Second, even if s/he did suspect (highly unlikely) you were engaged in butt play, as a professional s/he is not going to comment on it unless it is for your own health protection. Third, even if s/he knew you were into butt play, s/he probably couldn't care less except to assure you to practice safe sex and stay healthy. Soooo, in the words of Bobby McFerrin Don't Worry, Be Happy!

Don't worry at all--I recently had a procedure to help with BPH (enlarged prostate); I never mentioned my Aneros use (about four years now), and he clearly didn't notice anything "different" about my prostate. Interestingly, since the procedure I've been experiencing even more pleasure from my Helix Syn and Progasm. I haven't experienced the big one yet, but during both regular and masturbatory sessions, the waves and Super-T's have been amazing.

Thank you for the thoughtful replies @Thepybus , @rumel & @jb1057; not so much worry (well ok, some worry), but more curiousity about whether they may see any " improvements" thru massage.

@jb1057, do you mind sharing what procedure you had? I've been looking-into greenlight, rezum & urolift, along with conventional TURP, but I'm not quite ready to pull the pin on a procedure yet.

My physician doesn't do DRE's anymore. Gave it up a few years ago when it was found to be a very poor
way of detecting prostate cancer. He goes by my PSA reading on my annual physical bloodwork.

Well, here's just a data point. I've been using aneros and bigger toys (glass dildos) for upwards of 10 years, and a recent DRE by my urologist did not elicit any comments from him on whether he detected anal sexual play.

Not to worry or wonder, as far as I know a DRE cannot detect any signs of that.

I've discussed it with my physician. Along with MMO and my regular cannabis use. He's a professional and his job is taking care of me so I don't see why he shouldn't be aware of this? I thought is was funny that he suggested I use a bong instead of smoking joints - I live in a non-legal state too.
