Why isn’t prostate massage recommended by the medical field?

psa check came back at 0.34 (they like the level under 4.0).

There is a huge ad campaign in the uk and about prostate cancer and that it’s the biggest killer of men. Why in the heck aren’t family drs advising men to take up massage as a preventative measure? My dr said my level is extremely low for my age and I firmly believe it’s due to my prostate activities.

I guess it’s unavoidable for some due to genetics but surely it could prevent issues in lots of men? I just don’t understand the medical ppl, something proactive that can be done without a financial drain of the nhs budget, and they never so much as whisper any mention of massage. Odd.

Tell me about it! In America a lot of hospitals and medical centers are based on religion, like there's a "St. David's" or something like that in the name of their hospital, they have a religious center. Good services, but there's going to be some practices they won't ever condone. If you ask for it, they can help. But they'll never ever suggest on their own that a man should have digital stimulation of something in their ass 🙁

Well. . . they wouldn't be making money $$$$ treating your prostate issues by telling you to use an Aneros.

Remember the first thing they teach you in medical school: "A patient cured is a patient lost."

The medial and pharmaceutical industry in the USA depends on people actually being sick.  Curing you is not their goal, treating your symptoms until you die is.
