I am trying to determine how deep breathing (or diaphragmatic breathing, belly breathing) arouses or stimulates the prostate?
What I have read regarding deep breathing:
Diaphragm diagram of deep breathing: goo.gl/MPK15W
Animated woman's diaphragm during deep breathing: goo.gl/oL2usQ
If you look at this diagram (goo.gl/s4kvbp) it appears that the pelvic floor muscles surround the prostate and deep breathing contractions of the pelvic floor would provide slight squeezing pressure on the prostate that could arouse the it.
Is this how deep breathing stimulates the prostate?
Let me know your thoughts-

Here is my opinion, essentially, I believe the diaphragmatic action does induce regular slight movement to the organs in the abdomen which would include the prostate. I think the greater the diaphragm moves through deep breathing induces greater movement and consequently the potential for greater prostate stimulation. However, the referred diagram is a bit too simplistic and implies a tight ring of muscles which could squeeze/stimulate the prostate. I think the pelvic floor muscles act more independently from the diaphragmatic muscles and thus their action does not necessarily act in concert with the breathing cycle, though conditioned training of these muscles can accomplish a synergistic stimulating action on the prostate. I think the action of deep breathing on the prostate is more indirect. Deep breathing has a therapeutic effect on the body as a whole, while efficiently oxygenating the blood and thus providing a necessary element for optimal muscular action, it also encourages a measure of muscle relaxation. It is this relaxation factor which encourages the mind to imaginatively explore its own conscious state. This is when one's arousal level can be stimulated through self induced imagery, fantasy, etc. This, in turn, leads the body to release various neuropeptides and neurotransmitters further enhancing the arousal ladder which may then lead into an orgasmic state of being.
How are "Aless" orgasms possible? ...what about training with the Aneros MAKES them possible?
The human mind is a tremendously powerful director of actions within the body with the ability to draw upon and initiate muscle action learned through previous training (a.k.a muscle memory) this is how classical conditioning works.
Does Aneros use strengthen the pelvic floor so that these pelvic floor muscles can squeeze the prostate to stimulate it to orgasm?
Aneros use definitely contributes to strengthening, toning and improving endurance of the pelvic floor muscles just as practicing kegel exercises does. It may be a bit of overstatement to say these muscles actually "...squeeze the prostate to stimulate it to orgasm", they can certainly apply some pressure and impel some movement but I have an intuition they are rather limited in this respect.
It is a combination of factors which lead to prostate orgasms. Deep breathing acting in concert with subconscious muscle contractions and fueled by the body's own hormonal secretions and neurotransmitters under the direction of arousal generated in/by one's mind are all involved in this complex process, much of which is beyond our normal ego consciousness. The success of Anerosless sessions is reliant on all of these factors acting in harmony. The percentage proportion each factor contributes to the process is likely highly variable due to individual idiosyncrasies. Good Vibes to You !
Rumel, you are Gandalf of the Aneros community!
You convey some amazing insights, thank you for your beautiful reply!
The top of each deep breath produces a mild reverse kegel...which for me, gets things going leading to involuntaries.
Great discussion topic this should give explanation when we read that we should keep breathing. I have a problem of starting to breath to rapidly that is when I have to go back to relaxing into the breath. Thanks for the great info guys . I must say that the last 5 years have been wonderful .
