Does it matter if you're new or do you simply get the best one?
But which one is the best?
It all depends on the level of experience you have with anal play. And how comfortable you are when it comes to try out bigger toys. When I started getting interested in prostate stimulation, I started out with the Helix Classic. Then I moved to some other bigger stuff, like cucumbers, cigar tubes and bananas (yes, they were great for experimenting, while I didn't had any Aneros handy, at the time), and one of Doc Johnson's Master Series toys for awhile, before finally getting myself a Progasm Ice, that I regularly use right now.
From my personal experience, little toys (the size and the shape of a pencil/finger, so to speak) just don't do anything to me, other than making me feel like I have inserted a needle up there. I pretty much prefer feeling "fuller", and the Progasm does this job very nicely.
That said, there's no size fits all, when it comes to prostate stimulation. Some people prefer and are happy with the results they get from little toys, and some others just want a more "fullfilling" experience, with something more bigger.
So, my suggestion is that: if you're new to prostate stimulation, but are definitely looking to have the best fullfilling experience you can ever have, definitely get either the MGX or the Progasm. You won't regret any single cent you spent on either of these 2 models, and you definitely won't look back again, ever.
From a casual look through the polls, I don't see a question similar to this. Perhaps a poll for this would be an appropriate.
Avoid superlatives like "best," though. It's better written as "What Aneros massager would you recommend to a beginner?"
Or take a slightly different direction and ask what the experienced users wish they had known before getting their first toy.
But which one is the best?In regards to choosing a first Aneros model, I recommend that you first read the following : The Best Aneros model is...

Bro, the bananas have to be green because they are firmer and last longer. A green plantain is even better. LOL. I have a Doc Johnson too. How do you like yours Staley? How long you riding? That being said, lots of guys on the forum like when the they can move inside. The pro is a big model, so you might want to start with the MGX. The big thing is to be patient and give it time. It all works great!!!
Hi everyone,
the progasm looks a bit huge to me. I'm scared that maybe it's too big and then I regret buying it. I'd rather buy a smaller toy cause it's not as risky as a toy which might be too big.
What if the difference between the MGX and the Helix?
And how big is the difference between the Helix and the Helix Syn?
The Syn looks pretty cool but if I could get the Helix cheaper then I don't know if
I should go for the cheaper Helix or if the Syn is still better.
Dunz the helix and helix syn are the same. The difference is the material. The helix is made of smooth white plastic which most of the models are. The syn is softer and made from silicone. Personally, you might want to go with a classic model like the Helix or the MGX because the stiffness will add some great pressure down below. I have both of the them. The MGX is a bit wider then the Helix, but the helix has a slightly bigger head. I got my mgx first then my helix because everyone raved about it. I prefer my mvx because it feels a bit fuller inside me.
Here is my advice, it doesn't matter at first which one you buy. Get the one you can afford (amazon has great prices), stick it in and start riding. It will take practice and a learning curve, so get started. Also, I'd love to hear about your results too. You'll be amazed at how much pleasure a little bit of plastic can give if you are patient.
Hello,
then I guess I'll simply get the version which is cheapest.
But what demotivates me a bit is that everyone says that you have to practice and that it can take months or years. I won't even be able to "practice" daily. What if I only do it 2 times a week? Then it will probably take even longer.
@dunz You don't have to practice with aneros in all the time. Just take some time out of your day (it can be anywhere) and practice your breathing and contractions. I wouldn't use the aneros everyday. I think ideally you need to at least skip a day in between sessions. My last super o was in fact a-less when I went to bed. I think some on here don't even own one and have learned how to have super o's without it. It's just helpful for people to figure out what the sensations feel like, and soon after you can generate those feelings without it in.
