Out of curiosity, I searched for the aneros on ebay and ended up with a bunch of aneros products that were selling for much less than on the aneros website. Funny thing is that they had a bunch of color options (red, black, purple, blue... black might be nice for hiding stains), which isn't offered on the aneros website. This makes me wonder if these are just imitation products that are being sold as aneros products. Some of these are almost half the price listed on the aneros website, especially the prograsm for some reason. The lack of pictures of the product on many of the listings also make it seem a little fishy. Anybody know anything about this? And why doesn't aneros have more color options available?

As far as buying an Aneros off of Ebay...
I certainly wouldn't do it. There have been enough posts here in the forum of people that have unknowingly bought Aneros imitations from Ebay. That's not something I care to trust my health to. And besides, your money does not end up supporting High Island Health, the parent company of Aneros that designs and manufactures these wonderful devices.

I've had very good luck with Ebay and Aneros. The prices are great and all the items (Progasm, Helix, Eupho and advanced Peridise set) I purchased on Ebay where in the original packages and of the highest quality. There is feedback on sellers. If they are dealing in cheap imitations, word would get out. These are wholesalers selling at a discount. How can you think the manufacturer isn't making money?

Whoever these guys are that are selling these products, they are not authorized resellers. Perhaps they've gotten them from liquidated adult stores. On word of mouth providing you some protection from inferior knock-offs, this is not necessarily so. Over the years there have been quite a few people selling such products at deep discounts and as quickly as one goes away another appears.
I am glad that you have had good fortune with your on line purchases. But really the safest way to buy these products is from the Aneros website or from an authorized reseller.
On the availability of colored Progasms, if you read the link that Love_is posted, Aneros customer support indicated that these products had been offered to certain retail partners first as a thank you for their support. They will be available in the future on the Aneros site as well.

Perhaps I should have worded my original response more carefully. Not all of these wholesalers are selling real Aneros products made by High Island Health. So if you as the customer knowingly, or unknowingly purchase an imitation Aneros prostrate massager that was not made by High Island Health(HIH). Then of course HIH never sees any income from the sale.

I got mine on eBay and was happy with the purchase. If I buy any more models it will be from the web site to support the company. 🙂
