Hi,
First of i know that there is allot of info here on what you are supposed to be feeling when using aneros.
I can recognize allot of those things like P-Waves etc, because i experienced them before with other toys.
But i dont seem to be able to find on what the initial feeling should be when first using the toy.
I recently bought my aneros Maximus Trident.
And im not sure what i need to be feeling.
I personaly find it a bit lacking... i am used to anal play with bigger toys, and love the feeling of pressure against my prostate.
( the smallest movement is met whith that funny satisfying tingling feeling.)
I honestly think this toy is not hitting the proverbial spot.
Is this possible and or is this supposed to be this way.
I dont want to rush things ofcourse i will give this one allot more tries.
But the thing is that even with non-aneros toys i can get allot more sensation with the contractions.
And i already experienced a few waves with another toy.
I know and i am not expecting this thing to be a magical toy or something , i know it takes time+effort+patience.
So basicly my real questions are the following.
Is it normal that i dont feel that statisfying pressure when contracting my sphincter? (unless i contract too hard it becomes distracting and not relaxed at all )
Am i stimulating my prostate without actually feeling something and i just need to persevere?
Or do i get a bigger model , and if so which one?
Thanks for reading.
Likely Your not feeling because your too alert, mind too busy searching for feelings. Just relax, don’t chase anything and let it come.
Try contracting both the sphincter and pc muscles, hold them for a bit,and release them a bit,but not fully, and then contract again etc. Or just work on your pc muscle and forget the sphincter. Play around with your contractions until you find what works for you. But you really need to quiet your mind, the prostate is a funny beast,go looking for pleasure seems to have to opposite effect for most. Good luck.
Thx for the tip.. will try. 🙂
What is the initial feeling suposed to be like?
It is not "...supposed..." to be like anything but what it is, nor should it feel like anything in particular. Those thought constructs are the basis of expectations which most frequently lead to frustration and feelings of failure. There are many clichés surrounding Aneros use, hearing "Every man's journey is unique and individual." may seem trite but it is nonetheless true. It is best to not have any expectations for your Aneros journey, let it be an adventure of self discovery.
You don't "...need..." to feel anything specific but your past usage of various toys will have already formed subconscious expectations which you will need to recognize as possible impediments to your current Aneros usage.

New Aneros owners and men who have extensive anal experience with larger devices such as dildos and butt plugs have expressed similar thoughts. While your particular model may not be an optimal match for you it is more likely it is your mindset of expectations and ability to focus on the more subtle nature of Aneros prostate massage which is the obstacle.
Is it normal that i dont feel that statisfying pressure when contracting my sphincter?
It is normal (typical) when learning any new skill to not be aware of all the subtle peripheral aspects associated with your focused physical activity. IMHO, this changes as you become more experienced and your bodily actions/reactions become more automatic, when this takes place your mind is more apt to detect the pleasure which was already there but you just weren't consciously aware of it.
Am i stimulating my prostate without actually feeling something and i just need to persevere?
Probably, compared to the macro sensations of larger toys which stretch, push/pull, slide to a much greater extent than the more diminutive Aneros devices do, the subtle micro sensations of Aneros devices need time to build, unhurried and unfettered. This requires patience on the part of the user, I think too many users stop for lack of patience.
Or do i get a bigger model , and if so which one?
Every model has its own unique performance characteristics, a bigger model may not be the answer. Curiosity alone (if you start to have success with your current model) will probably lead you to purchase some other models but I don't have a suggestion for you at this time.
Good Vibes to You !

I kind of knew this was probably going to be the answer. I guess i just needed to hear it.
Thank you.
It is frustrating reading time after time to 'expect nothing', but the best route is the do nothing approach as your body adapts, if you rush it you will experience delayed results as your prostate can get truly battered - my experience with the hard plastic of the trident taught me this. The aneros moving and tickling/sliding around your prostate will be an early stage; get used to feeling subtle changes as you respond, these should deepen to parts of your body the aneros cannot reach; a laryngeal thickening is common with me (or was in the early days), making me want to swallow, as if I were throwing up but without the nausea, it appears to me that women go through the same before climaxing, unlike with a traditional male orgasm. How much an aneros or aless orgasm resembles the female climax is remarkable.
The first true experiences of success, the 'awakening' or apex of 'rewiring' for me was a pins and needles feeling, a chill that started at my extremities and then suffused throughout my entire body. There is a feeling of great elation, of purity, of being filled by light. The orgasm can result in strong abdominal contractions, the more accustomed you grow to the very intense feeling the closer you will get to the super-o, which can feel like every atom of your body vibrating and plying apart, a second symptom as if you are floating as much as several centimeters from your body. It will feel like you are centred between your two eyes, the mythical third eye, and you will feel totally at one with the universe in a way masculine energy, I'm sorry to say, will prohibit you - this is a yin experience that is hindered by the drive to ejaculate (although that can happen too depending on the strength of your prostate and/or discipline); my experience is abstinence doesn't change my ability to reach aless.
The feeling itself is not so much the prostate but the perineum, eventually it will be like a phantom limb that will strengthen as a tickling sensation that you can activate and expand through thought and kegels. I really hope this helps, but as people have said, expect nothing; my post will appear spurious until you experience it yourself. Just enjoy what you can when you can, speaking as someone who has been out for a year and very discouragingly so as I repaired from the trident. If we weren't so caught up in the whirlwind of alpha-ness, if our sexualities weren't so shamed and subdued by marketing, I truly think the aneros could create world peace among other things; I've told the makers such. The profundity is only matched by music, love, great art.
@jimbeam its not spurious at all,I thought it was a great post.
Can you tell me what you meant by out for a year, while you repaired from trident, did you cause injury/damage?
Yes. I've posted twice so far, in my other post I've said that the Helix Syn enabled me a level of control over when and how I orgasmed. With the trident, although it was interesting learning how I reacted to each individual model, the eupho being especially powerful, I found I would shut off for months at a time, plus my aless would be so powerful that I couldn't stop them and would have them to a frustrating frequency during day-today activities, where I had to spend hours shaking the randy out of me just to find some peace of mind; eventually it all just suddenly stopped and my prostate would ache for months, my libido greatly reduced. In conclusion, while the progasm taught me what I was doing wrong, the helix syn I'd recommend to beginners and advanced users alike, and the trident I would not recommend to anyone, although now they've added the silicone I may yet return to its latest rendition, but I feel I should just be happy with what I have despite the increased efficiency of the trident's motion which I can agree upon despite my misadventures. For now I'm in the early stages of 're-awakening', and it's lovely to slowly have the experiences I thought to never have again. As for spurious posts, it is a disclaimer to those who've tried for years to get a reaction to no avail when I was lucky enough to breakthrough in a fortnight; I can only accredit this to my openness to my environment and comfort within myself, no hangups about myself other than those subconscious ones.
@jimbeam so what? You think the plastic models can damage your prostate?..
it felt like.. nothing..i know i sound anti-climax but that's what most first time users experienced
It took me a while to know what I am looking for.
The tridents made me ultra sensitive and in the end I burned out with no way to shut off the feeling if I was using the aneros or no. In hindsight it was a scary time, when I lost the feeling along with my libido it was more of a relief despite my lack of sexual energy.
