In lots of pharmacies around here, you can get Kegel balls, small vibrators and cock rings right beside the condoms and lube. And of course, the big off-brand Magic Wand is there, too. Aneros products would not be out of place, and maybe some other things could be sold there.

I think a shift from having these items only in SEX-shops and getting them more in the open as wellness products will happen gradually, after all, everyone is either having sex, masturbating or both. Just like everyone poops and nobody snickers when they see toilet paper, this should be the same. But I don't see a need to oversexualize everything to the points sex toys are in your face 24/7 and everyone needs them.

@Zentai is absolutely right! Aneros devices are "wellness products" and could/should be displayed and sold in every pharmacy. In the States, a teen at age 16 to 18 could get a driver's license, and an 18-year-old can now vote. (the federal voting age is 18, a third of the states allow those who are 17 but will be 18 by the general election to vote in primaries.) "Driving" is a life-and-death decision and voting is to decide a nation's future. If a teen could decide the future of our society, they definitely can decide whether or not to use Aneros for their health benefit by themselves! An Aneros teen, in my humble opinion, will have a new appreciation of the "Pursuit of Happiness"! Happier teens, happier future!

I’m not in denial at all. I have taken reasonable steps as a parent to shield my kids from the destructive properties of porn. Smartphones and WiFi have password protection safe search on them. I’m aware some slipping through the net will still occur, but I’ve done what’s reasonably possible to ensure they aren’t watching hours of porn everyday. That’s the basics. The tough stuff are the talks. The birds and bees isn’t necessary anymore, kids can figure foreplay and intercourse out,we all did after all. The talks now are the warnings not to send dic pics and nudes to others. If received or they’ve taken video of sex, sharing and posting on the net can earn them a knock on the door from the police, land them in court and even prison not to mention the damage to their reputation and mine. Trying to teach the boys that despite the teachings of porn, all women aren’t filthy cum sluts that need hit from the back while you choke the bitch out. Encouraging them to build normal healthy sexual relationships with real girls, not step-relatives,baby’s sitters and girls passed out at parties. Trying to explain that watching some dude railing his girl on the net while you Jack off is simp behaviour that destroys confidence. Parenting this stuff is a minefield now.

Well said!  I will say as an older gentleman (58) and currently working in a correctional field, that porn, and easy access to it, tends to feed into some peoples level of impulsiveness.  It tends to destroy ones ability to tell themselves "NO" and self discipline when it comes to the real world, to reiterate what Helghast said.  Helghast, I applaud your wanting to, and working too, keep your children safe from porn and it's effects, until they are of an age to make this decision on their own.  Sadly, porn, doesn't seem to be, the taboo, that it used to be, it's easier to access, and in being such, with few unbiased adults actually discussing it with their children, to define the reality/perception difference, it can and most often does lead to even more impulsiveness as they age.  We have seen in the prisons that porn acts like a gateway drug into higher levels of crime, especially the crimes against person.  One might think that since they are limited to whom they can have access to, that it is simply the ones they forced to, and will take advantage of.  For the most part, that is not true.   Most, above 70%, were drawn to this before they had to come to prison.  It truly is a power/respect play.  It continues to the dominant physical side of things in prison(setting up the pecking order/ hierarchy), it's primarily held in check, due to the fact being under observation 24/7 tends to curtail most of the violent acts, especially in lower levels where the person has a chance of going home.  It's a survival of the fittest type mentality.  Also, we are seeing it as a repercussion of what we've taught as well.  Say what you will, but teaching a child that Evolution is the end all be all, doesn't leave much room for instilling morals and ethics, once a child understands that Mom and Dad aren't perfect either.  With the visible levels of governmental corruption, the constant infighting about agenda's, with no real leaders, not much hope there either.  With no true role models, many people try to figure it out for themselves, without any real direction, and can end up on the wrong side of society in most cases.  It definitely goes way deeper than this, but, this really isn't the place to discuss it.

My 2 cents, for what it's worth.
