I can't find any side-by-side "here's what the old one was, here's the new one" comparison charts. Looks like the only thing that's really changed is the removal of that bottom flap tab, making it look more like the Progasm Jr.
@kaygo, Here's a side by side picture of the New and the 'Classic' Progasm models. There are more differences between the two than just the removed fin tab at the bottom. While this picture doesn't really show them well, the first observable difference is in the overall length. The new version is almost 1/4"± longer at the head and the head is about 1/16"± wider in the transverse section. The main body part bulge is about 1/16"± wider in both the axial and transverse sections. This slight enlargement of the main shaft bulge should make retaining the Progasm during use easier, somewhat like the flaring action of butt plugs. Lastly, The distance between the P & K tabs has been increased by about 3/16"±.

The ad mentions that the new design brings the Progasm closer to the Trident standards. Does that include the longitudinal asymmetry? I'm pretty much convinced that feature contributes to the overall effectiveness of the Trident series.
Does that include the longitudinal asymmetry?
Yes I believe it does, though it is not readily apparent.

I remember the progasm i used to have being a slippery one. If the new one solves that, then i'm glad i missed the big Progasm sale we just had.
