Okay, I know this has nothing to do with this forum, but what do you guys think about Mantak Chia and his Method The Multi-Orgasmic Man?
I personally don't like the idea of forcing Semen up the spine because it might cause kundalini by force?
@orgazmic19, I don't think Chia mean to force semen up the spine literally. I read it as pulling qi or sexual energy up the spine and back to the perineum with the mind. It's a very powerful practice. It's important to keep the tongue on the hard palate behind the teeth so the energy doesn't stay in the head. This enables energy to flow back.
Some of his other ideas didn't resonate with me. I'm still learning though. Look at his youtube videos, they'll give you a better idea what he means.
Thanks for your info @euphemistic and I was wondering if you had any success with his methods yet? And has anyone ever experience kundalini symptoms through this technique because you are basically shooting up your energy up to your chakras like a flute?
Here's my interpretation of Chia's breathing energy circulating method. I've been doing it for more than a year and have had no problems with it. In fact I find it very energizing.

hey pal,
I came to the conclusion, that this Tao approach is mostly not beneficial. Esp. the idea of holding semen back to safe live energy. I'm not quite sure, but as far as I remember, modern medicine comes to the conclusion, that it's just the other way around: regular ejaculation keeps you healthy.
What I find beneficial though is the explanation of Chi and directing it. It's a very good way of visualization and getting in touch with your nervous system respectively inducing Pleasure Waves. The rest is is imho mostly old gibberish from ancient times. Keep in mind, that these teachings evolved from the same that preach tiger penis and rhino- horns as aphrodisiac... Many "facts" are made up just to fit in a pretty skew doctrine.
@euphemistic thanks for the link to your method. Pleased to see I have been doing it correctly, and it does amplify the sexual energy and help orgasm.
Thank you guys for your info and I really appreciate the feedback on your views, but I don't agree that this is a bunch of mumbo jumbo from ancient times as some say. There is a lot of scientific research that backs up CHI, or so called Sexual Energy and awakening the kundalini within as well as other techniques from ancient past. I also believe that are ancestors of the past were more spiritual then today's modern society. Man of modern times are too much involved in the material world and lost his spiritual connections with Spiritual world. I believe that Mantak Chia is on to something not only sexual, but spiritual as well but we all have are opinions and you know what they say about opinions.
Here's a link I found on Youtube with mantak Chia in a seminar:

There are nine clips on YouTube all together.
Hey, @euphemistic I was wondering if you ever experience a fuzzy static feeling when doing cool draw (testicle breathing) going up back/Spine?
Can anyone that does this explain briefly what's involved?
To make things clear, I didn't meant it's all "mumbo jumbo" and I'm convinced, that Mantak Chia himself truely believes in his teachings. But not all of his stuff convinces me (some does). So you may approach it with an open heart and a skeptical mind. Take what seems right and plausible and reject what doesn't.
Thx for the links btw...
Hey, @Sorena I am Not sure what you are talking about, but if you are asking what this method is it is basically called the Multi-Orgasmic Man by Taoist Master Mantak Chia. In his book called the Multi-Orgasmic Man, or in his videos he explains teachings handed down from ancient Taoist Masters of ejaculation control. Here's a link on wiki about him: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantak_Chia
It is believed through this ancient knowledge that men can have multiple orgasms, or whole body orgasms through his technique called the big draw, but he advises you to learn the cool draw technique called testicle breathing before you attempt the big draw. Basically you are pumping Sexual Energy called Chi from your testicles to your perineum and on to your anus and tailbone were it finally reaches the brain. A lot of focus is required from here and patience. From there you redirect your energy down to your energy center which is the navel to store up for later use after it reaches your head known as the MICROCOSMIC-ORBIT Channel.

What is sexual Kung Fu?
Sexual Kung Fu simply means sexual practice. Sexual Kung Fu is a tradition developed over thousands of years of specific techniques men can use to experience multiple and whole body orgasms, cultivate their sexual energy for improving their health and creativity as well as to pleasure and satisfy their partners.
Can anyone become multi-orgasmic? How long does it take?
Yes, as long as they understand and practice the techniques. How long it takes for a man to experience a multiple orgasm and then to become regularly orgasmic depends on two things: his sexual strength and sexual sensitivity. Some men may experience it the first time they try, while others will take several weeks or even months to become multi-orgasmic. But any man can become multi-orgasmic as long as he learns to separate between his orgasm and his ejaculation.
What is the difference between orgasm and ejaculation?
Surprising as it may sound to many men, orgasm and ejaculation are not the same thing, although they occur very close together in most men. The Taoists and great lovers the world over have known this fact for thousands of years, but it was not until the 1940s that it was recorded in the scientific literature by the famous sex researcher Alfred Kinsey. In short, orgasm is the contraction or pulsation that you feel at the peak of sexual arousal and that floods your body with pleasure. Your heart rate also rises about fifty beats per minute. Ejaculation is simply the lower spinal reflex that often follows orgasm and results in the ejection of sperm from your penis. Many men have experienced orgasm without ejaculation when they masturbated when they were young and before their body had started to make semen. Kinsey found that more than half of preteen boys could experience multiple orgasms. Unfortunately, when most men start to ejaculate, they forget how to distinguish between the crescendo of orgasm and the crash of ejaculation.
How can I separate ejaculation from orgasm?
As mentioned above, it requires two things: sexual sensitivity and sexual strength. In the book, we try to show men how to become aware of the moments between orgasm and ejaculation so they can learn to put the breaks on. By the breaks, we mean slowing down their arousal rate and using their sex muscles to control themselves from falling over the peak and down the steep cliff of ejaculation.
When do I let it finally go? Ever?
You can ejaculate every time you make love after you have had a number of orgasms, if you like. But most men, after they are able to orgasm without ejaculating, end up not wanting to ejaculate all the time. When they orgasm without ejaculating, they usually feel energetic and calm. When they ejaculate, they usually feel tired and lethargic. But according to the Tao, there are no absolutes. It all depends on a person's age, health, life circumstance. If you are on vacation, you may want to ejaculate more than if you are working very hard and need to conserve your energy. This is just common sense.
Isn't holding it in painful or dangerous?
Most men assume that if they do not ejaculate, they will have "blue balls" like they had when they were teenagers, but with multiple orgasms, you experience the release of tension and pressure that accompany orgasm. Not ejaculating is certainly not dangerous. The Taoists have been practicing these techniques for thousands of years without problems, and the studies show no sex problems.
Where does the semen go if it is not ejaculated?
It gets re-absorbed by your body just like it does in men who have had a vasectomy.
What is a full body orgasm?
Most men experience their orgasms primarily in the groin. This, according to the Taoists, is because we keep our sexual energy exclusively below the belt. The Taoists developed techniques for spreading this sexual energy and sexual pleasure throughout their body. Once you are able to do this, you begin to feel your orgasms in your brain and the rest of your body as well as in your genitals.
What do you mean by sexual energy?
What we call getting horny or getting aroused is understood in Sexual Kung Fu as the expansion of sexual energy. It is this sexual energy that you can use to expand your orgasms and revitalize your whole body.
Are there health implications to being Multi-Orgasmic?
Yes. According to Sexual Kung Fu, which is also called Healing Love, people need their sexual energy and even need to experience orgasms regularly to stay healthy. It is strange how we accept that pain is associated with illness, but we forget that pleasure is also associated with wellness. The problem is when a man ejaculates he loses much of this sexual energy he has created. This is the reason that many athletes and performers don't have sex the night before the big game or big performance. Musician Miles Davis talked about this, but what Miles and other men don't generally realize is that the drain is not sex but ejaculation. By learning to orgasm without ejaculating, they benefit from the sexual energy and waves of pleasure associated with orgasm (today, scientists might refer to the release of endorphins or other chemicals) without the depletion of ejaculation. A number of men have told me how they were able to avoid or end colds by using the Sexual Kung Fu techniques. In addition to prescribing certain pills for a particular condition, a Taoist physician would suggest love-making in a particular position--now that's, to quote Aretha Franklin, "Dr. Feel Good in the morning."
What are some of the most fundamental techniques a man can use to enhance his sex life and move toward being multi-orgasmic?
I think there are two very simple things that men can start to do. The first is to learn to be aware of their breathing. As in all martial arts and meditative practices, breathing is the way to gain control over your body. By learning to breathe deeply as he approaches orgasm, a man can learn to prolong orgasm and delay ejaculation. We go into much greater detail, but this is a place to start. Also, men can do the "Stopping the Stream Exercise" by which they learn to stop and start the flow of urine when they are going to the bathroom. The muscle that you use to stop and start the flow of urine (the PC or sex muscle) is the same muscle you use to help stop yourself from ejaculating.
Why do you think it has taken us so long to learn about multiple orgasms in the West?
Well, I think the fundamental problem comes from the shame that we feel around sexuality. For the Taoist, sex is just one part of being human. For them, just as we try to learn about cooking and nutrition to eat the tastiest food and stay fit, we should also learn about sex to experience the most possible pleasure and to stay healthy.
How many men are actually multi-orgasmic now?
I'd say probably somewhere between five and ten percent. Dr. William Hartman and Dr. Marilyn Fithian found that 12 percent of the men they studied in the laboratory were multi-orgasmic. I think this number might be a bit high, but it is still impressive. It is worth remembering that it is only in the last forty years that female orgasms have been recognized and accepted as normal. Back in the fifties, Kinsey reported that only 14 percent of women were multi-orgasmic. Recent surveys suggest that over 50 percent of women are multi-orgasmic! We expect that when more men realize that they can have multiple orgasm s and have a clear technique that the numbers will increase with similar speed. Already over the last fifteen years since the techniques in this book were introduced in the West, there has been a quiet sexual revolution going on among ordinary men who have learned to be multi-orgasmic.
What do you say to the statement of some women, "Isn't one enough for them? What do I get out of it?"
Most men who ejaculate when they orgasm remain focused on the goal of "getting off" rather than on the orgasmic process of love-making. Men who practice Sexual Kung Fu are not nervous or selfish lovers. They are in touch with their body and their partner's body, and are able to be much better lovers. Few men learn how to truly satisfy themselves or their partners sexually in this society. Sexual Kung Fu helps both partners to have the most pleasurable, passionate, and healthy love life. I would say that one doesn't have to be enough for men or for women; however, the issue isn't the number of orgasms, it is not about keeping score, it is about the quality and satisfaction of the love-making. Partners report much greater satisfaction with love-making once their partners learn to be multi-orgasmic.
Can the techniques in The Multi-Orgasmic Man effect relationships outside of sex?
As any sex therapist will tell you, when there are problems in the bedroom, there are problems in the relationship. While good sex will not solve all the problems in a relationship, it can certainly help. Sexual Kung Fu is a way of cultivating passion and intimacy in a relationship over a lifetime. It helps men and women to find infinite pleasure in their partner and not to become bored or seek after new sexual thrills. We call good sex "love-making" and that is exactly what the Taoist practice helps to do--make love. It helps partners to experience love and delight in one another, which can have a profound impact on relationships.
How does the Taoist sexuality differ from tantric sex?
There are some similarities between Tantra and Taoist sexuality, but unlike Tantra, which is part of the Hindu religious practice, Taoist sexuality was developed as a branch of Chinese medicine. You therefore don't need to believe any religious doctrines to be able to practice it and it is based on the workings of the body, not of any dogmatic belief system. In The Multi-Orgasmic Man we offer practical Taoist techniques that have been confirmed by scientific study to readers who are looking not for a new religious system but for a more profound experience of their own sexuality.
Isn't there a spiritual side to Taoist sexuality as well?
Certainly. Sexuality according to the Taoist was a profound spiritual practice. There was no separation between body and spirit like in the West. In Sexual Kung Fu, body and spirit are one and the same. What we have tried to do is offer basic techniques that all readers can use to become multi-orgasmic and to gradually add more subtle techniques for readers who want to use their sexuality as a path to improving their health and deepening their spirituality.
Any scientific lab readings of men using the Chia practice? (As in showing an orgasmic response via blood pressure, heart rate, anal contractions, etc, etc.?)
@Orgasmic19, I have a definite tactile sensation going up my spine, yes. Chuckjo2000 taught me what my chi feels like from the outside, externally, and Chia taught me how to move it this way with my mind and breathing. I can feel it internally more when it moves but now I'm familiar enough with it's signature that I feel it when still. BTW thanks for the Chia youtube references. I hadn't seen them and am looking them over now.
What he is describing is familiar to me from qi gong that I'm learning in a class. Right now I'm reading about wuji qi gong, a standing meditation I do that doesn't use the sexual energy. It is exactly the opposite practice with breathing and imagination so it's a bit challenging.
@sorena_, I wrote a description in my blog
https://community.aneros.com/blogs/euphemisms/breathing-meditation-revised/. Watching Chia's presentation I see he has expanded his explanation from his book to include posture. This is something I'm learning from the book "Wuji Qi Gong and the Secret of Immortality" by Stephen Elliott. If you have the right posture as Chia explains with t11 and c7 aligned as straight as possible in your spine, you'll feel qi in your hands.
As long as we're quoting Chia here (@orgasmic19), here's the chapter for gay men in MOM; : https://community.aneros.com/blogs/euphemisms/what-mantak-chia-says-about-sex-between-men-and-being-a-gay-or-bisexual-man/. He emphasizes the benefits of being "versatile" as it balances yin with yang which is so important for yang-heavy gay men. "When you are the bottom, you also have the benefit of having your prostate massaged during anal intercourse. According to Stephen T. Chang in his book The Tao of Sexology, gay men who generally are bottoms have far fewer prostate problems than tops and heterosexual men.‘
Rereading Chia's chapter, I am taken aback with what he says about not ejaculating during partnered sex being a blessing. I've been unable to ejaculate during patnered sex for a while and thought that there was something wrong with me (there still could be). I'm enjoying the orgasms so much and the initimacy that my body doesn't want to ejaculate. OTOH would like the choice of ejaculating or not LOL
Thanks @euphemistic for your kindness and information on this subject. I expected more comments on this subject, but to my surprise a lot of people may never heard about mantak Chia, or it's just me. 🙂
@Orgasmic19 I'm fascinated, thanks for starting the thread, just ordered the book!
Thanks @smudgefish for your feedback and it's a very good book and like to thank you again @euphemistic for your knowledge on this subject. I just finished reading your article about gay men, or being bisexual and all I can say is I love the idea. A lot of heterosexual men can learn a lot from homosexuality and as well as Taoism. I am not gay far as no and I consider myself heterosexual, but I kind of like the idea of trying out to experiment with same sex but I would feel a guilt to try it out. So I will stay heterosexual for now before I think about going down that road and thanks again.

I don't think their is any reason to feel guilt from experimenting with the same sex even if you are straight. Really, though if you were gay or bi, you would already know because you would have a same sex attraction. I'm kind of a believer in the Kinsey Scale when it comes to being asexual, heterosexual, bisexual, and homosexual. I consider myself gay, but there is still that 5% of me that will occasionally get turned on by seeing a woman in porn. Does it mean I'm going to go out and have sex with women? Probably not, but maybe in the right circumstances I would.
The more I practice and get touch with my body I can feel my CHI slowly moving up my spine. Here's a quick way to experience Chi taken from mantak Chia book - Rube your hands together for ten seconds and then hold the palms about an inch apart. If you concentrate, you should be able to feel a flow of energy passing between them. Basically sexual energy, or ching-chi (pronounced JING-CHEE) in Chinese, is what we in the west call getting aroused or getting horny and this is the basis of bioelectric energy we have in our bodies.
Small word of warning for anyone doing the microcosmic energy circulation if you get it wrong it can give you a headache which is not easy to shift.
I got some very strong energy running up my spine and into my head yesterday to the point of wondering if my whole body was going to orgasm. Nice at the time, but I developed a headache after which is just not shifting. On googling I find that this is caused by excess Chi sitting in the head and the only advice given is to find a good qi gong teacher to sort it out for you. Since I live in rural UK there's no chance of that! so I just hope it settles soon.
No pain no gain.
Hey, @smudgefish If your head hurts, you feel "wired," or you are having difficulty sleeping, you may be leaving too much stagnant energy in your head. The energy can overheat if it stays in one place, a problem that can be easily solved by keeping the energy moving. Make sure to circulate the energy in your head nine, eighteen, or thirty-six times in one direction and then the other. (Like in cooking, you need to stir the pot so no part of the stew overcooks.) Once you have circled the energy in your heat, let it flow down the front of your body through the Front Channel. If you are having a problem bringing the energy down the Front Channel, you can let it descend back down your spine. This is Taken from Mantak Chia Multi-Orgasmic Man
@Orgasmic19 Thanks for that. it seems to have settled for now anyway after a few hours sleep this afternoon after trying to move it down the Front Channel (new word for me) towards the lower abdomen. In case it comes back can I ask when you say 'circulate the energy in your head' do you literlly means circulate it around in my head?
I believe what he means is to use your mind and your eyes to spiral your energy nine times in one direction then reverse it. And it's also good to know how to do the cool draw known as testicle breathing first and know how to circulate your energy down the MICROCOSMIC-ORBIT CHANNEL Back/Front before attempting the big draw. I am still at this stage in my journey when it comes to testicle breathing and moving Chi.

You're very welcome, @Orgasmic19. I was just putting that out for my gay, bi, curious brothers. I haven't found much information about spiritual energetic stuff specifically geared to gay men except this. Sounds like you are curious but not enough to explore. That's fine of course. Good to know that about ourselves.
I think that Mantak Chia has provided a valuable service to the community in that he makes it somewhat easy to translate Chakra, Chi and Meridian thinking into terms and concepts like nervous system, organ and sensory concepts.
Unfortunately, many times in explaining a concept or course of action, he refers to other books that he has authored. It's easy to think of this as a strategy for expanding his sales and ready inventory on Amazon.
The "Inner Smile" is a good basic reference and worth having on one's own bookshelf alongside his writings on MMO and the Cosmic Orbit. Fortunately my local library has most of his writings so I'm able to track the cross-references in his more complex concepts.

I've not heard of circulating chi in the head. My qi gong teacher has us rubbing our dan tien sacral chakra below the navel with both hands one on top of the other in a circular motion in widening circles multiples of 9 times (9 or 18 or 36), clockwise and then counterclockwise. That's supposed to store chi there and ground one in the center of gravity of the body.
Another way to move energy to the dan tien is to put both hands at your brow like you looking into the sun and shielding your eyes. Then slowly lower both hands down your front, past your heart, to your dan tien, feeling your chi following your hands. This is done along with the circular movements above.
"If the man has a sexual relationship with a woman and his seed is preserved, his vital essence is strengthened. If he succeeds this a second time, his sight and hearing will improve. The third time, all his physical disorders disappear. The fourth time he will begin to perceive inner peace. The fifth time his blood circulates with great strength. The sixth time he achieves sexual mastery. The seventh time his thighs and buttocks will become firm. The eighth time his whole body will radiate excellent health. The ninth time his life span will increase." - From "The Principles of Taoist Wisdom", by Emperor Tang
For more than 8,000 years of Chinese history, the "Sexual Kung Fu Method" of retaining the seminal fluid during the act of love remained a deep secret. At first it was practiced exclusively by the Emperor and his innermost circle, who learned it from the Taoist sages that advised the court. These wise men claimed in earlier times it was a natural gift of all mankind. The Emperor needed the method to prevent impotence and illness; improperly educated monarchs were exhausted at an early age by the sexual demands of their wives and concubines. In aristocratic families it passed from father to chosen son alone, excluding wives, daughters and other family members. Sexual Kung Fu is an internal practice that permits men to retain certain bodily secretions which are a source of incomparable energy when stored and recirculated to higher vital centers. One prevents loss of this biochemical energy by not ejaculating. Stopping ejaculation is not to be confused with stopping orgasm.
I like the 7th time where my thighs and buttocks become firm.
Hey, @euphemistic maybe you could help me with something it seems every time I do the cool draw I start to feel a fuzzy feeling in my back and with focus I can raise this feeling up to my upper back but I can not make it go further up to my spine and eventually reache my head.
I have tried rocking my spine to raise this energy but only when I am still and with intense focus I can raise this feeling, but I cannot raise it to my head for some reason. Do you I have any suggestions?
Or is it possible I am not feeling my chi but my spinal fluid raising? Or experiencing blockages?
I was taught to keep the back as straight as possible so the chi has a clear path, no curves to cause turbulence. So I tuck my chin in toward my neck, holding my head straight upward as if suspended on a string. Also I pull my navel in towards my back. Do this in a relaxed way though, don't strain. I know this sounds weird. Play with it and see if you can feel the chi flow.
