Guys,
A recurring topic on this Forum has been about getting your female partner to accept (or at least tolerate) your use of an Aneros device. Zaneblue (Marrena Lindberg) has provided some good nutritional information to assist women to become fully orgasmic and by extension help us men to possibly become Super-Orgasmic as well. One of the ways to accomplish this goal of acceptance is to make sure the lady in your life also receives some benefits.
Here’s a thought, what if you can get her libido cranked up to the point that yours is, wouldn’t that translate into better all around sex and activity?
I just read this article - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22593988/ -
that references Marrena Lindberg’s work. This is a mainstream article, it seems to me that this would be a good one to get your female partners to read, since it is written by a woman and really aimed at women wanting to better there sex lives. I think it could be a tool to help bridge a communication gap between the sexes by allowing women to see the Aneros device as a male equivalent to the “GyneFlex” device described in this article.
Incidentally, there is an older thread on the Forum titled “Automatic Tantra?” - http://aneros.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=586 which had some very enlightened discussion about various aspects affecting the Aneros experience, including the dietary aspects. If you haven't already read it, I think you will find it interesting.

Wow, thank you!

Yes, that article is very female-friendly, it was first published in Self magazine last month, which is a woman's magazine.

Hi zaneblue, I read the Self Magazine article and went the the health food store to purchase L-arginine (referred to in it). I read on the label that it is not to be used if you have herpes simplex. I will do a little research on that, but I was wondering if you had any knowledge regarding this? My wife gets canker sores, which I understand to be as result of oral herpes and that is why I am curious. Thanks, grateful

I don't know much about l-arginine. That was recommended in a different book talked about in the article.

I am getting back with my research (in case anyone is interested) on l-arginine. There seems to be a consesus that l-arginine is not to be taken if you suffer from cold sores (or oral herpes) as it feeds the virus? It is said to icrease the blood levels of nitric oxide and is being used as an alternative to Viagra for ED. As an experiment, I began taking L-Arginine about two weeks ago and noticed elevated mood and energy levels right away, and that has been consistent each day since. I will eventually suspend the use of it to see if the effect goes away, but I am enjoying it too much now. I have been taking 3-4 grams per day. I have been taking fish oil (Barlean's Fresh Catch Ultra-Purified) EPA 1760 and DHA 1170 via two teaspoons every morning for about 2 months. I have not laid off stimulants (coffee and yerba mate') which is my next step. I have never felt better, but I have yet to notice a huge impact in my Aneros sessions. It is a particularly stressful time so I am not surprised. The Magnesium and Vitamin C are yet to be introduced. Anyway, that is where I am in the suplimentation experiment. I am so glad that you have chosen to bless us with your knowledge, zaneblue. You have elevated the already high level of this forum! Thanks! grateful

You are correct, Grateful, in all your comments about l-arginine.

On the other hand, l-lysine is good to fight off cold sores, but unfortunately these two amino acids compete with each other for the same receptors. But here's the good news: there is a form of l-arginine called l-pyroglutamate that can be taken along with l-lysine and both are available in a single formula from Source Naturals called Amino Night. The dose is four tablets taken before on an empty stomach before going to bed. Four tablets contain:

Calcium 218 mg
L-Arginine L-Pyroglutamate 816 mg
L-Lysine HCI 816 mg
L-Ornithine HCL 469 mg

As you say, l-arginine works wonders!

I'm also taking the Omega-Rx recommended by Zane, three a day, one with each meal - thanks again Zane.

Oh, and don't forget the CoQ10, 100mg every morning.

I'm 61 and never enjoyed myself so much in all my life 😀

Thanks for the input, GrandTiger. I'll give it a try and look into CoQ10 as well. It is strange how much of a difference suppliments can make. I never would have believed it had I not tried it! Have you heard of Julia Ross? It was her work that put me on this road. grateful

No, haven't heard of Julia Ross. But there is no doubt that the quality of fuel we use makes all the difference in the world to how well our bodies and minds function. If only I had realized this obvious fact half a century ago! But better late than never.

Actually, it is absolutely wonderful to discover that at this age we can enjoy pleasure more intensely, more often, and for longer periods than ever before. I mentioned in another thread that I'm now enjoying a thousand times more orgasm than previously, considering an hour or two of continuous and multiple orgasms every day compared to a 15 second orgasm two or three times a week previously. I now enjoy more orgasm in two weeks than all my previous orgasms combined since puberty. And the intensity just seems to keep on increasing as if there is no limit!
