Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the Aneros Community!  As part of our new site launch, we have moved the forum and blogs to the community.aneros.com subdomain of aneros.com  Your login/password at the Aneros Community is separate from the shopping experience at www.aneros.com.  We still have a few issues (broken links, missing members list) that we are working on as well as some enhancements.   Please let us know if you see anything that needs to be addressed.  Thanks, and happy posting.

Hurrah! we're back up! Thanks for the information, changing my bookmark to https://community.aneros.com/forum was pretty easy and thank you for allowing our old passwords to remain valid but... will we need to establish a new login/password for the home website in order to make product purchases?

Good Vibes to You!

@rumel yes the shopping experience on www.aneros.com was previously on the same WordPress platform that the Forum is still on, allowing for a single sign on capability.  The shopping experience is now on an entirely different system, hence the need for the move to the community.aneros.com subdomain.  You will need a separate login for purchases on www.aneros.com

The mouse scroll-wheel behavior on desktop is a bit over-cranked. Flying all over the place here.

I think the new forum is better and easier to navigate!

Easier to "log in" and "log out" When you log in you will find the posts you desire to view quicker. The "recent posts" feature is also helpful; it leads you directly to the newest post in the thread of posts.

Very interestingly, the Forum system let go of the "badges (trophy, shield, suns, stars, etc.) of the members, so the viewers of the posts will be guided to the contents and pay more attention to the ideas & points of the posts. We can still see who posted more messages in the "Members" section, and the ranking remained. Very interesting arrangement.

@clenchy is right: the mouse scroll-wheel somehow behaves strangely on the forum screen.

Let me try some links: Forrest's Talk "Prostate 101"

Prostate 101: The Ins and Outs of Prostate Play, presented by Forrest Andrews

(in rumel's post): Gary’s TEDx talk – “The Great Porn Experiment” (2012)

And a gif:

Both internet video links (the link sign, URL address, then "TEXT (display) of the link, the standard process)

and gif work (attach file--choose file--upload file--post, then, edit your post, open the (underlined)file(link) of the image in another window, "copy" the image, and then "paste" the image in your revised post, the desired placement)(a little unnecessarily complicated & time-consuming! But it could be done)

The "sticky" pushpin sign remains the same.

However, the "Hot" post sign at the forum screen bottom menu is a green-colored rectangular (portrait) page, while the "Hot" post on display actually shows a green-colored fire image. Some discrepancy.

Still room for improvement! But, overall, it is a nice upgrade!  Many thanks!

I miss the 'Like' button; I hope they bring it back.

Hi @ggringo - I just liked your post.  Which like button are you referring to?  Is there a different one?

@anerosit

The old button was on the right, and it was just "like".  Then you could "unlike". Now we have like/dislike. Do the likes cancel the dislikes? Not that it should matter as I don't see any use for dislikes anyway in our forum context. I liked your post but now I can't "take it back", I need to dislike it. Again, not a big deal, just different from what we had.

As mentioned by Gulliver, it would be fantastic if we could easily add pictures directly in our text. Just have a no nudity rule or NSFW tags. At the very least, since a picture is worth a 1000 words, maybe it would shorten my posts a little bit, hehe.

@zentai I'm actually not sure how the new like/unlike works.  Do you mean inline images as opposed to an attachment?

@anerosit , the 'Like' button was replaced with your 'Reacted' thumbs up button at the bottom left side of the post entry.  All is good; it's no longer an issue.

Yes exactly, inline images, several in the same post. Like if I wanted to share two diagrams and show the difference between them, the current format does not make it possible.

The forum has been consistently slower to load than it was before this update. I didn't mention it before, since it seemed obvious, and was probably just a teething issue... but it's conspicuously slow.

Emojis are still causing posts to vanish into a black hole.

It's painfully slow on my end, too.

Hi there,

I'm new here. I registered yesterday and started a thread with a specific question. But the thread/post has not been approved yet. I searched for rules and found nothing. Are there any rules e. g. concerning explicit language I need to follow to avoid that my posts are are not approved?

Best wishes

Hans
