Water-based Lube: Alternatives

Hi,

I started off with my Helix Syn with some degree of success. I've had a Super-O once with it, but not since. I've always used water-based lubricant with the Syn due to its silicone material. I decided to buy the Progasm Ice, and at some point will probably buy some of the Trident products. Since they're not made from Silicon, what non water-based lubricants might work well, without any drying out?

Thanks.

Also, is there not a search post function on the forum, as I imagine this might have been asked before?

@welschi Thanks for the post and welcome to Aneros! You are certainly among friends! I have tried a variety of lubes over the last 2 years and the one which I currently use is original Boy Butter. It is coconut-oil based, washes off with water and lasts a long time without drying out. It can be used on silicone and non-silicone toys. It does not have the unpleasant side-effects of water based (glycerin) lubes and is not messy to use. I highly recommend it. But you may want to "experiment" with different lubes until you find one that is just right for you. Good luck!
