Voluntary Mental Arousal

Hi all! I was having a nice session the other day that was more like hands-on edging+Aneros when I noticed something interesting.

Like always, with an anal contraction I could feel the helix trident aggressively push forward against my prostate. I could sense the Aneros' motion as a firm (uncomfortably hard even) physical pressure with no sexual or pleasure component. It was basically like pressure my finger into my arm; pressure and that's it. That's always been my experience.

But lately I've been thinking about the processes at work with this Aneros-led sexual exploration. The clearest example for me as of yet has been nipple sensitivity. Touching my nipples had never given me any sensations other than irritation or uncomfortable tickling, but after reading something on a Japanese language dry-orgasm site, I decided to do a little sensitizing regiment. For a week I spent 10 minutes in bed nightly looking at erotic material, gradually rubbing my nipples as I became aroused by the images. As I'm sure you can guess, I started to feel that familiar electric surge deep in my body where the thigh meets the glute. Sensitizing successful.

"Rewiring" comes to mind. Though it's one word, I think the it is a combination of more processes than we usually acknowledge. I don't want to wade into definitions, but I think most of us can agree that there's a subconscious, passive element to rewiring. Through continued practice+rest cycles, our body will begin to relax and sensitize itself to our new pokes and prods. Once we discover the new pleasure pathway, it naturally reinforces itself. My nipple regiment was basically organized around this concept. Through association of arousal and gradual adaptation over a week, my body dug a new pleasure-well that gushed forth naturally once it was breached.

So generally I took the passive view. Get aroused, do nothing, focus on the whispers and feel good. But lately I've wondered a bit about the active portion of arousal. Sometimes I'll feel my shirt sway across my nipples and get a little jolt of excitement. It's nice, but even more surprising is that just by placing my focus on my nipples and imagining them to be tender and aroused, I can feel them pulsating out of control with sexual energy. It's like a placebo effect right at the border of physical and mental. Focusing makes me physically receptive, and my imagined phantom sensations are received and multiplied intensely.

And so, during my session I got an idea. Could I do the same anal contraction and get the same uncomfortable pressure, but voluntarily change the way my body interpreted it? I mentally told myself/pictured/imagined that if I contracted, a wave of uncontrollable sexual energy was going to flood through me. I gave it a little squeeze and...Wow. Instantly flushed, a moan leaked as if straight it welled directly from my prostate. Light shivers were chased by deep quivers and my mind was going blank. I was edging, so I had to release for fear of exploding, but the dollop of pre-cum that poured out felt nearly as good as emptying myself. What a success!

I'm looking forward to experimenting more with this, but I'm curious if there others have experiences or insights related these concepts. Do you use mentally-induced coloring or sensations in your play? Have you found too much or too little to cause problems? Did this active sensitizing eventually lead to automatic sensitization for you? These are just some of my questions, but feel free to share your experiences or other questions.

@RidingWaves11 - interesting stuff... I'm chiming in here because I'm exactly interested in waking up my nipples - and here you're doing it! I need to re-read your post, but any tips you can post would be welcome!

I can only speak from personal experience but I just followed a very simple procedure: Every night when laying down for bed or having some handsy "me time", I looked at erotic pictures or videos, getting seriously turned on. Then I very lightly teased my nipples as I continued to get more turned on visually. Continue at least 5-10 minutes, repeat the next day

Some general nip-tips...
1. Don't overstimulate. Start with gentle handling and consider dulling the sensations with a soft tshirt, sheet or some lubrication. As boogie boarders and marathon runners know, nipples chafe easily.
2. Try different motions: switching up and down with fingertips, pinching (and pulling or rolling gently) between two fingers, pressing down into your chest, etc.
3. Listen for the feeling in your prostate rather than your penis. It seems like nipples have a strong connection to the prostate.
4. Like the original post^, try voluntarily receiving your touches as a sexual signal.

Slow and steady! Have fun.

I've found the more you do of this the better it gets yes however if you stop for any length of time, like weeks etc they seem to unwire somehow to the point where they are now a distraction and not conducive to sessions at all
