I actually had some theories on the aneros being a spiritual tool.

That's not a hypothesis. A hypothesis is something you can test; that is wishful thinking.
Lucid dreaming is real; meditation is real. It's reasonable to assume that aneros use could help with the latter. But telepathy and psychic abilities? One doesn't have "theories" about magic.
