Vice wasn't for me, would Progasm present similar problems?

When using the Vice, I encountered a little bit of pain, which I attributed to the device being too long for me. Not 100% sure that this was accurate, but it always felt great during insertion until about the last 1/2 inch, at which point it would start to hurt a little.

My curiosity for the Progasm is piqued, but I'm concerned it'll give me similar pain. What do you guys think? Does anyone have a similar experience and results they can share?

re: might Progasm be a better choice?

If there's pain, something is wrong

In addition to twlltin's query about your height
== was the vibe capsule inserted in the Vice or was it free to flex?
== if not free to flex, give that a try and let us know if there's a difference
== about how much space is there between the your perineum and the p-tab when the pain starts?
== are you satisfied your rectum was empty rectum before you lubed?
== do you have any history of prostate enlargement or do you have any symptoms of bph?
== assuming you are still using Slippery Stuff (gel), are you just covering the Vice with it or are you also injecting lube?
== is the pain dependent on your posture? if so, how?

tks rook

Where do you feel the pain?

If it's at your anus, your experience may be similar to mine. I suppose that water-based lube (I use KY) is stripped off the toy during insertion and friction results between the not-too-slim neck of the Vice and your anal ring. I got some improvement by shooting the KY and smearing Vaseline on the Vice, especially on the neck.

Cheers...

great analysis and spot on with that solution ------ remember that same issue during my early Progasm ventures.

Not necessarily the just the lube... I remember the first time or two I tried the Vice and noticed a little bit of a "bite" following the final portion of insertion. I found this to be the sharper v-ridge coming off the stem of the vice across and through to the p-tab. I have previously owned a helix and progasm, but the vice took just a little longer to adjust to. Now its my favorite for longer durations or sitting endeavors. (The progasm kicks ass but give the vice a second chance and see if additional lube will assist in the adjustment.)

I am between 5'7" and 5'8".

I am 20 years old, so to my knowledge, I have had no history of prostate enlargement or BPH.

I've experienced the pain both with and without the vibe capsule inserted.

The pain is not located at the anus; it's located within the rectum/abdominal area.

The discomfort starts with about half an inch between the p-tab and my perineum.

I'm fairly certain the rectum was empty at least one of the times, as I've tried it on multiple occasions, but I cant remember if I checked in deep with a finger so I can't say for sure.

I may have just coated the Vice; this may have been before I got an lube injector... can't remember for sure. But I think I tried it once since I got my lube injector and still experienced the same problem.

When I'm experiencing the discomfort, I tend to want to curl up and have my knees bent, as opposed to standing erect or having my legs straight out.

I really think it's mostly a size issue. It may be that my rectum has a certain physiology that makes it harder to accommodate these larger toys--If you look on diagrams of the rectum, you can see little inlets that kind of "section off" the rectum into parts, and it seems (when I'm exploring with a finger) that the first one of these may be closer to the anus for me than for some guys; I'm pretty sure I can feel it when I stick my finger in past the second knuckle. This inlet seems to be more constricted and less elastic than other parts--it certainly has less "give" to it. I wonder if it's something that would loosen up if I kept at it, or whether I'm better off leaving well enough alone and sticking to my Helix.

Hi again MndTravels,

Agree. At age 20, your Prostate is no doubt very compact and pliable with nary any enlargement. If you are new to anal play, I'd go with yakapelli's thoughts on lube -- more is better until you really get relaxed and loose with any of the larger toys.

So revisit your Vice once every few weeks and start out without the vibe capsule. Without the vibe it will have a bit of give and help your getting really relaxed with it. Until it feels like a natural part of your body, it might go well for you to not try any serious massage with it. Remember, no silicone lube. Stick with water based or natural oil based lubes. Olive oil, while a bit messy in cleanup might be a good choice for getting started.

As far as Progasm is concerned: it's somewhat more radical than Vice in shape and total volume. I find it heavier on the sphincters and the upper knob increases stretching in the upper rectum (just the opposite of what may work well for you right now). Probably not your cup of tea until you really get loose with Vice. For the time being, I'd offer the same thoughts regarding HIH's Classic (PS-New).

Meanwhile, MGX or Helix should be good choices for this part of your journey.

It took me several tries to get the Progasm in, this after the Sgx, but it sure felt good when I finally got in conquered!
