I just started using the SGX few days ago. Today was my third time using the device. My session lasted about 20 minutes.. I'm still not noticing any sensations. I'm of Asian descent and stand at 5'2 which is not that tall. That is why I ordered the SGX, however i'm starting to think that maybe I need a bigger model? Or should I just keep experimenting and see what happens? I'm using the aneros massager mainly for prostate health instead of pleasure as I was diagnosed with prostatitis few years ago. I was wondering if there is any contraction exercise regimen that I can follow for improving prostate health? Right now I'm not really trying to reach the "Super O". Just using the device mainly for health. Can anyone show me good contraction exercises when using the aneros SGX to improve my prostate health. And when I say contraction exercises, I mean how fast or slow, how strong or light should I contract the anal muscles in order to improve prostate health? If you guys can lead me in the right direction, it is greatly appreciated. Thanks

also, i forgot to mention. The three times that I used the SGX, I been doing strong and fast contractions because I barely feel anything. Is that bad? Should I not start off with strong and fast contractions? Or does it not matter how fast or strong you go?

Hey @the_reg,

can't speak about the health aspect but generally speaking: you should read the wiki! It's full of usefull information and will answer a lot questions that you even might not have yet.

About the feelings: strong force is neither necessary nor helpful for generating sensations. It's your brain and nervous system that needs to reconfigure, that's why it's often called "re-wiring". So instead of jamming your muscles, rather focus on the subtle sensations - build awareness. It might help to visualize the tip of the aneros and the spot where it touches your prostate. Really concentrate and focus on that spot. Plus: learn to relax properly - that's a key skill! Meditation, hypnosis and binaural beats are good tools for that. That's all not important if you just want to massage your prostate, but being able to actually feel what's happening down there and thus getting solid feedback, is a big plus imho.

Cheers, Unfug

My base reason for purchasing and using an Aneros was for prostate and pelvic floor health. I used the SGX for a long time. I did not do a lot of strong kegel contraction. Use SGX to get used to it and feel comfortable with it. I rather let the prostate respond to the tool. This takes time so don't be in a hurry. As I went along I bought other Aneros. I also have BPH. My main aneroses are the Progsm Ice and the progasm Junior but don't be in a hurry. The bigger Aneros massagers put more pressure on the prostate. These trigger pulses which massage the prostate, I find this very, very beneficial. I am much older. I am very pleased with the work the SGX did.
