May I be a bit indelicate here; I mean we are among friends.

I'm still fairly new at this and am enjoying myself to some significant degree and expect that the greater reward is still to come.

One thing that's causing me difficulty, and I understand it's a fairly common dynamic, is the need to pee just as things are starting to heat up. So I get up and go to the head, relieve myself, and usually have little trouble getting back into the swing of things. However, on a few occasions, once I'm on my feet and walking, my rectum gets the sense that there's something there and immediately has an extremely strong urge to expel it. So strong, in fact, that Lucille, my MGX, has been flung to the bathroom floor amid a small puddle of lube.

Now, back to square one, I either give up the session or start from scratch, flushing myself out, lubing up, inserting and trying to get myself going again. Needless to say, it's tough to get back to level again.

I'm wondering if others have had this problem and how they've solved it. The obvious solution is a bedpan, but I'm wondering if a) there's another and b) if there's a way to eliminate the urge to pee.

You could try sitting down while you pee, perhaps also holding the aneros in with your hand..

Lenny
There are numerous references in the forum to advocate peeing before starting a session, and I always do. Despite that, if I have drank alot previously, and especially if the session is long, I go pee if I have to, and as the previous reply suggests, I hold the aneros in so it doesn't slip out. Sitting I cannot void completely. Sometimes there is a feeling of urging to pee, and it isn't really that. It is just part of the feelings that go along with things. The urge to poop is another issue. Sometimes it is just gas, but I have had the experience of following the urge, and when I am sitting on toilet and take out the aneros, sure enuf the urge was real. C'est la vie. I think the very stimulation of aneros can make both pee and poop move, especially if it wasn't possible to clean up far enuf, even with a brief enema. All part of the earthiness of the location of aneros action.

What kind of lube are you using? Check the ingredients for glycerin? If so, that could cause the urge to purge. Try a lube without glycerin, like Slippery Stuff Gel; it's one of the best anal lubes out there.

And the concept that the Aneros has to be swimming in a pool of lubricant in the rectum to work properly is simply untrue. I do no prep and do not inject lube and put only a small coating of vaseline on the anus and the massager, perhaps with a tiny coating of KY on the massager for extra slipperiness.

Thanks all. I've been injecting 5-6 cc of ID Glide, then covering Lucille with Slippery Stuff. That could be the problem. I'll try eliminating the injection.

Yes, the beautiful artist renderings of the male reproductive system we all see in the anatomy books or on the wall at the doctor's office show the rectum as an empty cavity and we carry over this idea to the injected lube lying there in a puddle with the Aneros swimming around in it, but in real life that doesn't happen. The rectum is in fact a muscular tube that stays closed in upon itself unless gas or stool distend it, which we feel of course with the characteristic sensations related thereto.

When lube is injected into a muscular tube closed in upon itself, a little does stay around the Aneros but the majority goes up into the lower colon and depending on how irritating the lube product may be, such as glycerin in the KY type products, you'll get a laxative purge.
