On my Trident maximus the K Tab doesn't make contact at all even if I push the model as far as it will go there still seems to be enough space to put my finger tip under the tab. I'm wonder if anybody else has this issue or if it is supposed to be like that, it seems like it would affect the movement of the model.

It's not supposed to be like that :S
Don't think you have a busted MT (though it's possible I guess) More likely that model doesn't fit you well, which sucks.
I have a similar problem with the MGX trident, though to a lesser extent.

If the K-tab is really as far off as you say, your MT may be acting like a Maximus Classic, movement wise. I mean..... there are worse things......

Yep and I guess I can provide a solution as well. Your rectum isn't perfectly straight and has 3 mayor folds. The middle one (kohlrausch-fold) is approx in the area of the prostate, so that the tip of the aneros sometimes "digs in" before/in front of this fold instead of passing it. Imho that's why slighty shorter (icicles no 45) and slightly longer (eupho) massagers work better. Every massager with the "perfect" length to hit the prostate tends to land directly on the fold and to get stuck in a suboptimal position.

So what do? While inserting, do a scooping motion and point the tip to your spine until the p-tap digs in a bit. Then let go. This way, the tip will pivot after it passed the fold and, thus the massager goes deeper in and the k-tab should make contact. The massager will most likely stay in place because the fold prevents the tip from sliding over it (yet again).

Cheers, Unfug

Sounds like what happens when the massager is not inserted all the way in. Sometimes, especially when I am not relaxed enough, feels like it hangs up on the way in. Usually being patient and relaxing more allows it to find its way home; other times I remove it and try again.

I sometimes get that with the TM as well. It often depends on your position. Play around with lying prone (on stomach), knees to chest, on your sides, etc. I also put rubber eyedropper tips that I've trimmed on the ends. It can help. Either way, the K tab feels cool to me, but my pleasure doesn't depend on it. And (gently) push that baby all the way in, and rock it around from the base. It should make contact if you experiment.
