Trident, Do You Cut Off The K-Tab (Kundalini Tab)?

You can do whatever you want to your Aneros model but I'd recommend that you keep it intact for several reasons. First, you'll lose a tertiary stimulus opportunity. Second, you'll change the balance which will affect the performance response. Third, you'll lose some lateral stability which will lead to inconsistent movement performance. Such changes will affect performance, sort of like removing one of the wheels from your car, it might still be drivable but it won't be stable.

@rumel how about cutting off the handle on the classic series? I find that I and partners bump the handle all the time (which seems like it could be dangerous) and that I can't lie flat on my back. I don't see the purpose of the extra curl of the handle, though I can see how the first segment creates stability. Any good advice/threads on that?

I am definitely not going to cut the k-tab off. It's a nice extra stimulus, and overall it makes for an even better fit.. like a more snug fit when it is pulled in the anus.. such a lovely feeling!

... how about cutting off the handle on the classic series?

Many owners of the 'Classic' models have cut the curlicue tail/handles off some of their models, I've done that to a couple of them myself. I did it for the exact reason you cited, increased functionality for other body positions. The K-tab on the Trident doesn't pose the same usability restraints as the 'Classic' models, thus obviating a need to modify it for those reasons.

I don't see the purpose of the extra curl of the handle, though I can see how the first segment creates stability. Any good advice/threads on that?

There have been numerous threads in the past which discussed this issue. Here are two user Poll threads which addressed this topic -> Have you made modifications to your Aneros massager? & How much handle/tail did you cut off?. Here are several threads which also discussed this ->Handle modification, Cut the Handle Off my Helix Syn=Great, Eupho tail/handle removal or modification, remove Helix Syn handle?, Handle and Tab Modifications, I removed the handle of my helix and wow!!! to name just a few.

@rumel thank you, chopped the loop off my helix with scissors, and softened the tip with a flame. It ain’t pretty but it’s the best I can do in my appartment where the only real tool is a bicycle multi tool and a wrench!

I vote no to cutting off Trident K-tabs.

However I did cut off my Helix-syn and Eupho classic handles.

On the Eupho I cut it off in such a way as to create a po'mans Eupho trident.
I cut a section out of the handle, keeping the root section (at the base of the body), about 1.25" long, enough to reattached the tab with adhesive and reinforced the connection with heat-shrink tubing.
Looks OK, a bit flexible (like a Helix/ syn classic) and is my current favorite.
My others are Helix classic, Hellix syn (handleless), Helix Trident, MGX Trident, Progasm Jr, and a set of Paridise.

If you want to try this, a couple of hints....
Plan the cuts to be 'matching' diagonals to allow more contact area for more strength.
Used "E6000" adhesive. from Ecletic Ind. (local hardware store) made in USA
I used 2 layers of heat-shrink tubing. Put it on the arm before gluing (won't fit over tab).. Then glue, then shrink tubing.
Careful use of heat, (flame or heat-gun) can help gently bend the arm for 'fit' adjustment.

Do not cut off the K-tab! Be patient, try focusing on it pressing on you, and hope that you will have an orgasm induced by that very tab, presumably called a "kundalini orgasm," which, trust me, you definitely want to experience.
