Yes, I have traveled with an Aneros in carry-on luggage, I'm pretty sure it was seen through the x-ray scanner but I have never been asked to take it out or asked to explain what it is.

In any event, even if you are asked, YOU have the right to a private screening room to examine your luggage contents, if asked about it, tell them the truth, it is a therapeutic massage device. You need not go into any more detail than that.

I took my Helix overseas for a month in my carry-on bag and never had an issue. I did leave the lube at home and then buy some more once I got to my destination, though.

Yup. Have twice been asked to unzip the Dopp-kit that carries my shaving gear plus the goodies. Once had to take out the shaving cream and the lube. Lube was confiscated (several years before they started allowing small bottles of gel to go through.)

In both instances TSA inspectors didn't handle any of the gear and asked me to take out and show the bottle of gel. My impression... very professionally done ! ... rook

I take it with me all the time. Lube under 3 ounces and the device. Traveled with peridise and eupho. Never any problems. A friend of mine is a flight attendant and he travels with her rabbit everyday

All are correct. I travel extensively and have never had an incident, or even a question about my Aneros kit. I carry three, sometimes four and have never been questioned. But I have long since planned my response when/if asked, and it's exactly what @Rumel said earlier. Medical device, prostate health, and you could say you have BPH :(to drive it home)...end of story.

Here are a couple of tips:
1. Always put your Aneros in a plastic zip-lock bag. Never let it/them loose in your Dopp kit. Number on it's more sanitary, and secondly, they'll travel better.
2. Always keep your lube(s) in three ounce containers or less and put them with your shave cream, shampoo, etc. in another 1 quart Zip-lock bag that meets TSA specs.
3. Place the Aneros bag vertically on the handle-side of your carry-on held in place by your clothing. Flatten the toys into a single plane if possible. While not "invisible" to xray, they will be less noticeable, I believe.

Like the Boy Scouts say, "Be Prepared" and you'll always have the pleasure of your Aneros as your traveling companions. Remember, your hotel room is your pleasure palace while traveling. NEVER waste a hotel room! All that "me" time with no interruptions is the best! Makes me horny for my next trip, just thinking about it.
