Omg i was having this exact same thing last nigh on my first session with coconut oil. My own experience, particularly in my youth, was that the anus is capable of self lubrication. It is a little thicker than sweat and a little thinner than mucus or saliva as I've experienced it. If Jack Johnston (‘hydraulicjack’ ) is correct about our multi-orgasmic capability being hard-wired into our DNA, and as ‘artform’ has experienced mitochondrial level orgasmic energies throughout the body, I don’t think it is strange that one would experience orgasms at the body’s energy centers (the chakras). The two lowest chakras being related to the genitals is obvious, the heart chakra has also been frequently alluded to with 'heartgasms'. The throat is also a chakra center, so why shouldn’t orgasmic energy also be expressed at this location as well?
‘darwin’, it is indeed fun to speculate about the impetus for evolutionary change. I have no doubt the pleasure principal had an effect on securing the proliferation of the species and contributed to the hard-wiring of our DNA.
I was listening to NPR today and Donald Johanson, the anthropologist who discovered ”Lucy”, was also speculating about other aspects of human evolution. One of his comments was to the effect that our developing larger brains lead to the development of better tools, but also that this cultural manifestation for usage of tools lead to the development of larger brains.
I think our species is continuing to evolve and our ability to access greater pleasure from our bodies may be part of that evolution. It is possible this increased capacity for giving and receiving pleasure had the cultural advantage of creating stronger emotional ties between members of a tribe. This stronger emotional tie would lead to higher levels of protective behavior, thus enhancing the survivability of the group and ability to pass those traits forward in the genetic code. Just my speculation anyway.

You are right and add Jill Bolte Taylor's right brain dominant perception of the energies reality as she describes in detail in her book: borderless patterns and exchanges and fusions of energies is our physical reality. All chakras are also particular forms of focused energy centres. How could it be otherwise at the energetic level. A specific orgasmic response at the bio-mechanical level is interesting for its effects in anthropological and cultural evolution: the varied cultural responses to these mind/body potentials as actually experienced.
