Thoughts on the Vice, and a question

A little back story first So I ordered a Vice on Wednesday or so and told myself I would hold off on ejaculating until it arrived. Last night, in a very tired state that made self-restraint difficult, I caved and had a nice session with my Helix followed by a traditional orgasm without the Helix in. During my session with the Helix, I actually inserted a finger along the anterior side of the Aneros, much to my delight. I also did some manual massage after removing the Aneros but before the Tgasm. (I kind of couldn't help myself. :rolleyes: )

Today I received my Vice and I just couldn't resist doing a session, although I knew it might not be supremely successful given my extended sexual session last night. When I slathered my KY Jelly onto the Vice, the way the silicone finish accepted and kind of held onto the lube a little was really hot. I prelubed my inside with a finger and then got onto inserting the Vice, which took a try or two and a change of position (ended up lying in fetal position on my left side, which is unusual for me; usually for insertion I lie on my back with legs up and in a squatting position or else I lie half-prone on my right side.) I pressed it up against the hole and relaxed as I learned to last night, and the insertion was incredibly nice. I think the softer finish really grants a new degree of comfort with the insertion. Funny thing is, at first I didn't realize, but I only had the first bulb in! I got pretty excited when I realized that and I slid the rest of it in.

The Vice provides an amazing feeling of fulness without a sense of misbelonging, at least for me.

Now, I think it may have had something to do with my session last night and the fact that the Vice is bigger than I'm used to, but I did find that I was experiencing a small amount of fairly sharp pain when I made a contraction. So I forgot about contractions and turned the bullet on.

I can tell right now that the vibration is going to take my sessions to another level. I'm brainstorming some ideas about how to use it--waiting until a session starts stagnating, then turning the bullet on to reenergize me, or simply turning it on when I'm near the peak of a session. All four patterns are great, although the four quick beats pattern probably won't do well for an extended period of time. I think I'm going to prefer the ramping up and down patterns.

In any case, my involuntary contractions were still causing that same pain, so I decided to end the session because I know that pain during a session is not a good thing--definitely in terms of the session, and possibly in terms of my health. So I'm hoping that after I give myself a day or two's rest, I can get back to it in full stride.

I'm hoping that to prevent the pains I won't have to use another Aneros to warm me up before sticking in the Vice (it would probably make me go through lube rather fast,) but I really have no idea at this point. Has anyone had similar experiences, and how did they end up?

Hello, aneros_xxxx.

I'm glad to read that you stopped your session when you felt some pain. It's happened to me a few times over the 6 months I've been using Aneros. Any kind of soreness or pain in the prostate region indicates a problem, which is most likely temporary. Could be, you simply overdid it.That was the case for me and it was all better 24 hours later. If the pain comes back during your next session, I strongly recommend you see a doctor since there might be some pathology. If so, the sooner it's treated, the better.

Best Regards,

Dave

Yes. Link ----> http://www.aneros.com/forum/f5/how-do-you-tell-when-your-prostate-sore-15681/

Most guys here are rather "anal" and therefore are tempted to get the max that's available. I'm lucky in having arms that are long so can't line up correctly to "double insert" with finger. However when I'm just in there for play rather than a dry-O, other handy items get tempting. ....... 😀

Dave's comments and suggestions are spot-on. IMO, lay off a whole week or perhaps twice as long as it takes the pain to vanish whichever is longer. Think of this as though it were a bruise you could see. The bod has great self-healing powers. Grant it an honest shot.

Blessing

Thanks for the thoughts. I have someone sleeping in my bed for the next few nights, so I'll be getting some nights off as a by-product of that... which is probably a good thing, because if there was nothing to keep me from it I probably couldn't keep from it myself. XD

I have hopes that it won't take as long as a week to heal up (I suspect it would be just fine tonight) but it's good to know that if I do get the chance in the next few days and it's still not better, it doesn't necessarily mean the Vice will always give me pain, and rather that I might just need to give myself some more time to heal.

Some updates:

Two nights ago, had two strong traditional orgasms with some help from a [human] friend. Last night, tried Vice again and while there was still some pain, it seemed a bit less than before. Tried Vice again this afternoon and even less pain.

I'm thinking the pain is actually a matter of getting used to its size, rather than any prostate soreness.

I'm planning on finally getting a lube insertion device (probably that infant medicine dropper I've heard mentioned) and maybe trying a lube other than KY, since my current tube is running low.

EDIT: After checking the other thread, thought I'd mention that I have not had any pain in the perineum.

MindTravels;

Aside from a moment of discomfort lasting less than a minute immediately after insertion, Vice use should be pain-free, period. While it may take some time, perhaps as long as a year to get intense pleasure out of the device, it should always feel comfortable in almost any body position.

I strongly suggest you not use Vice until you've had a medical exam to ensure there is nothing wrong in the rectal regions. Do tell the doc what you're doing. It's not anything he hasn't heard about before.

Sincerely,

Dave

If you are looking for a lube insertion device, get a Lube Shooter or Lube Launcher; they cost less than $10 and you get three insertion cylinders with each piston. They are properly rounded and smooth at the tip, have generous sized handles, they are easy and neat to fill, and they are easy to inject. Not to mention, easy to clean. Look into it.

@tennis: If pain does not continue to decrease from session to session and if it's not totally gone within a week or so, I'll definitely consider talking to the doctor about it. However, I'm young (20) and a pretty small guy (5'8", 120 lbs.) and so it seems likely that a device of this size might give me a little trouble at first. Again, I haven't experienced any pain in the perineum or testicles, so I'm not too worried at this point. Is there any specific concern you have that I'm not aware of, or is it just general concern? I appreciate it, but I want to give it a little more time first.

@Badger: If I'm not satisfied with the infant dropper, I won't hesitate to try something else. Thanks.

MindTravel;

Glad to hear you have a plan to deal with the pain issue. There are a number of small organs in the rectal area, such as Cowpers gland, seminal vesicle, etc, that can be bruised by excess pressure, as well as the prostate itself. Also consider that any of those parts or the rectal wall itself could have a minor pathology you are not aware of that might be aggravated by the Vice. As I wrote above, the entire Aneros experience should be pain-free at all times.

Best Regards,

Dave

To my relief, the pain while using the Vice is gone.

Unfortunately, I think the thing's just slightly too long to really hit the spot for me. How do I know this? Well, it feels really great at this certain point during insertion and removal when about a centimeter or two of the device isn't fully inside. But when I let go of it, it gets sucked in past that sweet spot. It really gives an amazing feeling of fullness, and it's possible that as my muscles figure out different ways to move it'll start hitting the prostate more effectively, but right now it's not looking (read: feeling) as good as the Helix.

Very similar response here, also by about a centimeter. Helix and Eupho are my anerosgasmic partners. I do admire my Vice though for use as a fun play toy. Also the best therapy tool going -- very productive Super-Ts ! I'm 6'0" tall.
