Thinking of making the jump from the Helix to the Progasm, any words of wisdom?

Haha, crazy coincidence: I'm 6'3", have had a Helix for almost the same amount of time, and just ordered a Progasm literally minutes ago.

I doubt you'd be able to use the Progasm while having intercourse (unless maybe she was on top), but it has had great reviews. And trading off between models may also enhance your results with the Helix.

What makes you think that? I've had intercourse several times with the Progasm inserted where I was on top in the missionary position. The only disadvantage I've found is that when I ejaculate if that I have to really concentrate on relaxing as there is a real tendency to make rectal contractions that force the Progasm out. Otherwise it's doable and quite pleasurable. 😀

This is a, "to each his own game" but I believe in having a Progasm in the tool box. So, as -thhn- says, just go for it. It took me about 6 months to really "loosen up" with Progasm.

@jarheadmsg: My hunch is Progasm will help you really relax with Helix, improving your Helix sessions by a bunch.

Regarding Progasm, intercourse and foreplay. I have moderate bph (45gm) and Progasm blocks my ejaculate, particularly in missionary position. (not so much so with my spouse on top.) My wife and I really like a complete semen release at climax so prefer the SGX for foreplay and intercourse. As usual, YMMV. ... hth

I highly recommend that a guy have more than one model to appreciate the different sizes and can help realize the different sensations that you can get from a different model.

Like Buster, I get a different sensation from each model. There is no right or wrong model and if you can afford it - then buy them all

I just bought the Progasm and used it twice. I'm still getting used to inserting it, but once inside, it is awesome. For its size, it is very mobile and you can feel it move. I cut off the "tail" on my MGX and Helix because it felt uncomfortable when I am flat on my back or when I sit up. For some reason, the Progasm's tab does not get in the way. I plan on leaving it on.

I have had the helix for about 8 months and then got the progasm. I really like the way the progasm "takes you" with it in. It is very full feeling. I tried to have intercourse being on the top as well as the other posters here with the progasm. I could not keep it in my anus as it wanted to come out. This is unlike the helix which is smaller and was a good benefit for me in the love act. They both have their merits. 🙂

How loose do you have to be or how much lube would you have to have inserted to have the PROGASM shoot out of you? It has two massive humps that need to be scooped out. I imagine it shooting out would be arse-bustingly horrific.

Might seem strange but it's just the opposite. My getting "loose" with Progasm actually kept it in.

With progasm, it's a matter of NOT contracting to keep it inside. It's a matter of getting sufficiently relaxed to just enjoy the ride.

That's exactly my experience. But when it happens right in the middle of ejaculatory orgasm, it has tendency to lessen/ruin the experience. Hence learning to to relax that rectal contraction reflex during ejacugasm.

Well I ordered it. I arrived yesterday and last night was the first night with it. OMG what a difference! still getting used to it but man, it feels so much better!

For posterity, I switched from Helix to Progasm Ice and it's much better for me. I'm 203cm tall (nearly 6'8''). Helix was very hit or miss for me and I had to use awkward and uncomfortable positions to make it work.

Progasm works best for me in doggy positions (on all fours).

oh yeah go with the Progasm,  you want believe the difference I can ride a helix tri,for hours walk around with it ,ride it when I make coffee, the progasm barely can get out the bathroom it is really nice feeling.

I have been on my Aneros journey for almost a year and a half now. I have purchased the Eupho Syn, Helix Trident, and MGX Trident, in that order. I have had many sessions with all 3 of these models and I have only been able to get moderate pleasure from them and I’m not sure I have ever really experienced a P-wave. I have certainly never had anything resembling an orgasmic feeling. Some sessions have been encouraging, but mostly it has been frustration and disappointment. 

Yesterday, I decided to purchase the Progasm based on reviews from guys here at the forum. I got the Black Ice because that’s what was available at the shop. I was pretty excited, so I warmed up with the Helix for 15 minutes and then inserted the Progasm. I could tell right from the start this was going to be a more pleasurable ride. I loved the way it filled me up. I was laying on my back with my legs resting up on the couch. It wasn’t long before I was oozing the thickest precum I have ever had. I’m talking strings of precum with a bead of liquid right in the middle of the string...it was good stuff. I continued to relax, touch my nipples, and do some light kegel contractions. At about the 35 minute mark, I started having a succession of mini Os. I have never had anything close to a mini O before, so this was really exciting. It was this burst of pleasure that hit very suddenly and lasted about a second or two. I continued this for another 15 minutes with probably 6-8 mini Os before I decided to end the session.

Thanks @morexp and @simplepenguin ! I have tried to be patient and I have never given up, but I was starting to wonder if I would ever experience any sort of prostate orgasm. Yesterday’s session gave me so much hope and renewed excitement!

I have also battled some moderate ED and some pretty serious premature ejaculation when having sex with my wife. I am hopeful that the Progasm will help restore my erections and my sexual stamina the more I use it.
