Thinking about how i progress

So i made my breakthrough i feel, after many years of getting nowhere, by reading the aneros wiki and following the guide here:

"Start with a set of 16 moderate contractions holding for about 10-12 seconds each. Inhale slowly into the lower abdomen (vibrating your diaphragm) while contracting and exhaling with the release. When releasing these contractions be sure to come back to the base level contraction for about 4 seconds."

Anyway let me just detail a few things first:

If i raise my legs in a sort of fetal position while on my back and perform a mild holding contraction i would get, what i thought initially, orgasms! (after a week of these i would describe them as super orgasms as well, sore throats from moaning...also sore legs from having to hold them in that position for so long!)

However these 'feelings' seem largely dependant on the level of my erection. So if my erection is super hard and my arousal is high the feelings are absolutely wonderful. Conversely if my erection is less/arousal is less then so are my 'feelings'. If my legs return to being on the bed then i don't get these feelings at all, though i do get pleasant 'other' feelings, which are nice and these feel much more like what is described in the wiki, a "build-up" of sorts to 'something'

The few times i get these 'feeling's from the raised legs, is wonderful, but i feel they are not orgasms as such, in my mind what is happening is that my legs being up sort of forces the aneros to make more direct contact with the prostate which coupled with my engorged anus/prostate/penis causes a super erection and then the feelings of orgasm. it can be so subtle to turn this off as well, if i just put my legs even slightly down closer to the bed, they stop entirely.

So back to the wiki, I've returned to it in an attempt to see if i can change things up and get an automatic orgasm like you seem to get here. (and the wiki states also) and just see if i can make different progress, i feel what i have now is nice but it is not what people describe and i feel there is 'more' and that I'm missing something.

So i would do those holding contractions of 10 secs, release for 4 to the base level contractions etc. I found that my cock got harder than it has ever been before and the feelings of warmth would be in my prostate but also interestingly in the tip of my penis as well, lovely! I have also in the last few sessions experienced quaking and shakes like I've never had before, but no feelings of orgasm with them, not yet anyway.

My penis would get so erect during this technique and the prostate i felt was huge with swelling that the contractions were hard to perform! there seemed like there was little 'room' left in there once things are aroused and engorged. Then, like always, things fade to nothing. Even the arousal drops (which is odd as my mind and body are very aroused) If i stop the session the prostate arousal comes back within say 15 mins and sometimes i can continue.

For me its the loss of arousal after a short time that is causing these issues, my sessions are so short as a result as well. i feel that keeping the arousal is like a river of warmth in the prostate/anus that seems to fade quite quickly with me, I'm sure this is more a mind thing than a body thing.

Any help or guidance, or just thoughts? thanks!

I think you are a testament to the point that everyones journey is unique! I don't think you have anything to be concerned about or need anything, but you should continue to seek your own path!

It seems that you continue to have breakthroughs, which suggests that you must be doing things right and what works for you!

Yes but the breakthroughs seem to then stop working, for example the heights of my most recent sessions cannot be reached again, it's like I'm going backwards not progressing. Why?

You are progressing. The journey evolves and you will find yourself reaching new heights through techniques that did nothing for you before while old techniques that were sure things seem to fade away. Go with it, relax, and enjoy the ride. Avoid worrying and stressing about non-performance - that will impede your pleasure. Go with it. Be Zen.

Sounds good, it goes feel less sensitive bad less responsive, I don't know what I need to do next! Doing nothing results in nothing happening.

Maybe I should put it another way...

What do you guys do when your run of amazing sessions ends? Do you change technique? Observe a different mind focus?

Let me guess, your run of amazing sessions don't end, at all. You progress or the sensations may change but you always have that 'baseline' level of established pleasure that at least gives you enough satisfaction and focus in every session (braring the occasional duds)

I think replaying memories of sensations is good for solving the "doing nothing does nothing" conundrum.
Like the day after a good session where you can still bring up echos of pleasure in a particular area.
It feels natural for me to replay/imagine these pleasure sensations and have the aneros twitch along by itself, and a symbiosis and momentum grows around that. But it's very much the sensations leading the movement. I've also moved away from visualising the aneros as the acting on my body, but more my prostate reaching out and touching the aneros as it likes, which was a really interesting shift.

I don't really know where you should go from here, but I thought I'd throw something out there from my own journey, where I'm very much in the "do nothing" and "flaccid 95% of the time" camp.
