I have a theory as to why abstaining from ejaculation helps with bringing on the dry o/super o's. I think the arousal that grows from abstaining is important but I think the longer you go before ejaculating may make the prostate easier for the Aneros to rub. I read somewhere online before that your prostate will enlarge and fill with ejaculate. The more cum, the larger the prostate gets the easier it is for the aneros to come in contact with. If I go a week without ejaculating, I tend to feel the aneros touching the prostate more and hence stronger pwaves. I'm now experimenting with abstaining from ejaculation, it's been a week and am shooting for 3-4 weeks before unloading again to see if that can bring on the dry o's
No it's a build up of sexual energy, if you ejaculate you release all that sexual energy and it will take a month to bring it back up to maximum. abstinance is the way to go. also every ejaculation you do shortens your life, it's releasing life energy. I forgot the name of it but there's many books about it.
Science would have to disagree.
It's hormonal. The thing is, all these activities produce varied hormonal releases in varying amounts. Which make the result more complex than that, really. That rule of abstinance producing arousal is consequently very simply false. It can produce that effect yes, but it can produce the opposite too, it can also have very little effect and ejaculatory masturbation can produce more arousal too or diminish it.
Add to the balance that more arousal is sometimes a good thing and sometimes a bad thing...
...And you end up with an advice you have no reason to follow.
If you are interested you should investigate the effects of the different hormones, what affects their levels, what triggers releases and how each feels like. Then you might come up with a use of this that actually works for you. But it won't be that simple a rule.
If ejaculation shortens your life then I prob don't have too much time left 🙂
I think I'm learning I'm prob not going to benefit from abstaining from ejaculation for long periods. It's been 4 days and I'm about to go crazy. Normally I am a 1-2 per day person so I'm a bit of a horn dog though lol. I think my best results for it producing arousal are going to occur at the 24-48 hour mark and 48 hours may be pushing it too.
@orgasmo - I agree. I'm not finding abstaining very helpful. I know I'm moaning like mad on other threads about not orgasming but I get damn close each time and experimented this morning by ejaculating then trying to have a quick session and the feelings were just the same as normal, so maybe it depends on individual physiology.I used to be a 1-2 times a day person as well.
Smudgefish - the more I use the Aneros the more I'm starting to believe abstinence isn't that important or has a correlation with getting a prostate orgasm. If I masturbate the day of an aneros session I still get near orgasmic feelings. If I dont masturbate for 3-4 days, the feeling is the same or slightly better. Any more than 4 days and I'm a raging lunatic who just wants to blow my load during and after an aneros session. I still haven't gotten over the top and had a dry o yet. Not sure how long it will take to get that, if I ever do, but I'm starting to think abstinence doesn't have anything to do with success
thats an interesting idea, but I think the same as @canacan: hormonal levels are more important and they react very sensitive to your ejaculation-frequency/abstinence. As @canacan said, you may end up more sensitive and aroused, but it's just as probable, that you might feel dull and frigid. Or maybe it won't change anything. Despite the fact, that you can't derive a general rule, it's good to explore this mechanic and find an ejaculation freq. that works for you.
@1776
That sounds like Mantak Chia's teachings and I would be at least be skeptical about that point. There is a recent thread about him and his stuff btw. https://community.aneros.com/forum/discussion/16924/what-do-you-guys-think-of-mantak-chia-the-multi-orgasmic-man#Item_31
aneros_user113188,
The thread Are you "aroused"? discusses the importance of arousal in the rewiring process and the journey toward the Super-O. The topic of temporal abstinence has been discussed in several other threads on the Forum. In particular you may find the threads Aneros, Arousal & Abstinence & 21 day challenge post informative and helpful.
Good Vibes to You !
Obviously there is a depletion of energy after ejaculation, but depending on how long ago you've ejaculated you do feel, as Rumel says, that it cleans the pipes allowing for a free flow of orgasmic energy.
Moderation is key with everything.
This reminds me of what I read about the clitoris being the outer g-spot, that penis and prostate are connected to each other, that once you're aware of your prostate your penis in different levels of sexual arousal going from limp to completely erect will stimulate your prostate differently and give different sensations and each in its own way exquisite but the upshot is that it becomes very hard to focus on the penis the prostate has been stimulated in so many ways to want to stay hard as 'the engine has been started'.
It makes me think of this other thread if males had a female side. It's actually a bit of the Catlynn Jenner story(believed to have had the Aneros type device 10 years before it was introduced;) as well.
First I thought I was male with a feminine side and the way I think about it now certainly gives credence to allusions in the Bible about it(Virgin Mary and the like). What came first the chicken or the egg?male or female. Now I say the holy spirit then the female then the male being the image of.
And what if this story had a slutty twist?
