The Tempo: It's a bit pointy

I've had mine for a while, and I've noticed the base of it has almost an edge on it, on one side more than the other. I don't think it was meant to leave the factory that way, but the place I got it from won't exchange it. So I'm stuck with it.

As many of these as are made, I bet I'm not the only one. Is there anything like Sugru but for stainless steel toys? I'm sure I've seen that somewhere, but I can't remember where or what it was called. If nothing else, silicone caulk works.

I'd take a rasp file and some smooth grit sandpaper to it and fix it! or is this an area that's supposed to be rubberized?

@kaygo, Tempo is meant to be used as is.

Tempo consists of a head (almost like a guy's Glans penis, and two knobby areas, one just below the head and the other just before the base. The base is necessary to keep the tool in place in the anus, but to prevent from being swallowed up in the anus. The Aneros head and the two knobby areas are used to exercise and tone your anal musculature. The stainless steel heft of Aneros may be a challenge in the beginning. I took to Tempo naturally and quickly after purchasing as an early Christmas present for myself just after Thanksgiving 2013. Using Tempo then caused my Aneros sessions to go into a much higher orbit.

@handsfree59, rubberizing areas of Tempo sounds good. Suggest to Aneros product suggestions and development.

I think I will use Tempo early tomorrow morning. 😉

@BigGlansDC I know how it's meant to be used. I'm saying it's sharp on the bottom. The base wasn't smoothed out all the way before it left the factory. There's more in the post than just the title.

@handsfree59 I've thought about filing it, but scratches on stainless invite bacteria.

@kaygo, I am sorry that you have a problem with the sharp bottom of Tempo. @imp may have provided you with a solution. I for one have no problem using Tempo when seated, but prefer using it while lying on my back.

Hi @kaygo I had the same issue with my Tempo. Spent an hour or so with a Dremel, gently reshaping the offending area (started out with the sanding drum & finished up with a polishing wheel w/ metal polish). It made all the difference in the world!
