So there are days we can pop in an aneros toy and be riding pleasure waves until the cows come home and other days, we refer to as 'duds' where nothing happens whatsoever. We ascribe this to 'mood', possible mind chatter distracting us or lack of arousal or some other reasons for it failing to respond. Sometimes even when all these elements are in alignment, its just a false flag and we end up wondering what is 'wrong' with us. We find a certain position that works that then suddenly might stop working as well as it once did etc.
However, no matter how aroused we are, what our thoughts are focused on or how our prostates might be 'feeling' if we grab that penis and jerk it, rub it, whatever you fancy it always results in a guaranteed orgasm (and usually ejacualtion). Why does this simple act of penile stimulation lead to orgasm when instead using a device, making direct contact with the prostate yeild far worse and inconsistent results that touching ones member?
I have found that if i masturbate my penis head i get some very good aless response, but again this is not always the case, perhaps this occurs maybe 1 in every 3 times. Same goes for sex, sometimes its amazing as my prostate is involved, other times its like its vanished outta my body.

Practice maybe? I'm at a stage where I can get some good prostate feelings even when I'm not in the mood... I don't think my dud sessions are absolute-zero anymore (even if they still bore me). The wiring is there to some extent, more-so than it was before. So I imagine the penis-wiring is the same, but much stronger and more established.
I think you also have to consider how much penis-wiring is baked into our DNA, being penis-wired has definite reproductive advantages in terms of natural selection, so if penis pre-wiring is something that's possible, then I think we must have it. Maybe the aneros journey is about earning a new kind of something that we originally got for free.

See even the worst jerk sessions result in a pleasurable orgasm, not all aneros sessions do... or at least very few can claim that they do.

Oh my, you have really nailed it with this post! The Aneros stimulators explore the depth of male sexuality and that is what makes them so intriguing!
