I have one and i would not recommend it for prostate stimulation. These devices were made for one thing to dull pain by numbing nerves. I have one and i stopped using it as it would dull my sensations and cause not much to happen. I still use it to stop my back pain but for sexual uses its not that great unless you do a quick jack off before the numbness sets in then its ok.

I haven't tried a traditional tens unit, but I did recently purchase the Slightest Touch. So far I've only used it once but it increased my results with the Aneros and brought me my first (very small ) full-body dry orgasm. Previous to using the Aneros in conjunction with the ST I was only getting small, fleeting sensations.

I have only used it once so it is possible that it was a fluke, but there are a few more threads on here regarding other user's experiences with this unit. Most notable is Darwin's post "This is my fucking poem"

There are quite a few people who have used TENS units with their Aneros on the SmartStim Forums. Some of them have taken it a step further by adding electrodes onto the Aneros itself for direct prostate stimulation. You must register to view the forums.

acakactinium,

I don’t have a TENS unit but from what I have read these are not very effective as sensuality enhancing devices. You may wish to read the “I SING THE BODY ELECTRIC…” post (4th post, page 2), the Devices section from the WIKI or read this post by ’Tripper’. There are other posts as well that deal with e-stim techniques, you can use the Search function to find those as well.

Hi acakactinium!

I have had ST, TENS and even the expensive e-stim units (about $800 with attachments!) . . .

I found them either too slight or too powerful in their currents!

I enjoyed the ST, but didn't get enough kick form it!

The e-stim units never gave me the HFO (hands free orgasm) I was looking
for and I didn't appreciate all the "surprise jolts" of electricity shooting through
my penis and scrotum!

I even wired-up an Aneros and "holy shit" you talk about an unpleasant feeling,
when a "bolt of lightening" shoots up your tail pipe!!!

Of course the S&M community use these quite allot . . . they seem to enjoy these
as a "controlled pain" unit.

My two cents!

Later, hlaser99
