Tempo......let's hear it!

I ordered mine today.

I received my TEMPO today. My first view is this classy black box with the word "ANEROS" on the cover. It is understated and simple enough that you could easily leave it atop your bedside nightstand without concern for scaring off your visiting mother should she see it. Mind you this is not your ordinary cardboard box either, it has hidden magnetic catches to hold the lid flap closed, while this may seem like a marketing gimmick it is actually quite practical as there is no tab and slot to become worn or frayed from repeated open/close usage. When you open open it up, your eyes are treated to the view of this gleaming piece of jewelry like purposefulness nestled in a sensuously soft, erotic red satin fabric. You may feel like you are royalty who has been presented a wonderful gift of enduring value.

I took it out of its contoured bed to feel and examine it in detail. I immediately noted the weight, this is a heavy little thing. Though it is similar in size to the beginner's Peridise model, this model easily weighs 10X as much. It feels very substantial, this will last you a lifetime, the finish is polished to perfection and is as elegant as any adult toy you will probably ever see. Standing it on its base it looks like a 'King' in some futuristic chess set and you may feel like a 'King' from using it (you ladies may substitute the word 'Queen' for yourself if you choose).

Intrigued with how this model would perform, I took it for a test ride. I lubed it and myself with Natural Jelly, (IMHO, any lube will work well with this massager) and proceeded to insert as per the directions. The massager was at room temperature (±68°F.), it felt cool upon immediate contact but as it was slowly drawn in through contractions it warmed rapidly, it probably took less than a minute to warm to body temperature. One of the first things I noticed during initial use is the fact this model (probably due to its greater mass density) is not as responsive to anal contractions as the lighter Peridise models. If you expect this model to move quickly with each little anal twitch you may be disappointed. I found slower, stronger contractions more effective in generating movement. This is probably a function of physics and the laws of inertia at work here. The action is distinctly different from the Peridise models. As a tool for strengthening your anal sphincter muscles, this will be excellent. It takes some pretty good stamina to keep this tool inside you while standing with your feet spread wide, this will definitely give those sphincter muscles some resistance training. Adding regular exercise with this tool to your Kegel routines is going to make you a pro when it come to maneuvering your other prostate massagers around.

All in all, my initial ride with the 'TEMPO' was interesting and pleasurable, I am looking forward to further experimentation with this little heavyweight. Finally, of all the Aneros tools, this model is by far the easiest to clean up, simple soap and hot water is all that is necessary, even the Natural Jelly came off quickly and easily, that polished stainless steel finish is wonderful.

Oh yeah, looks like it may be the end of the week before I get to try Tempo. It seems to be caught in the Postal Service's revolving door.

I just discovered a shipping address glitch that might be plaguing someone else.

My Tempo was addressed to the correct Name, City and Zip code. As far as I can tell, my screen profile "location" (The Pacific Plate) was entered instead of a street address.

So, the Tempo is caught in an 'infinite loop' between my local post office and the Houston Sort Center. I've already prayed to the Gods in Aneros Support to grab the box when it next coasts through Houston.

If you have an unusual delay, it might be good to check the initial invoice for a correct street address.

My order had "Michigan USA" pre-populated in the street address section so I had to take it out. Be careful when you fill out your order guys. Sorry yours got delayed Rook, be patient, it will be rewarded.

I recall some of what happened during the ordering process. First screen was blank and I filled in all the personal info If that's when the street address defaulted to 'screen location' I missed it. ..... extraneous details deleted.............. I think that's where the 'shipping same as billing' input occurred. I believe there was a third screen, -- so I filled that in again. It was probably on screen two or three that I overlooked the 'change of address.'

Looks like the ever watchful support got your back, rook. Hopefully things will work out ok, and you'll get your sweet ride. I think the bug only shows itself when you have a Location entered, i made a order recently too, but i dont have a location entered and i didnt get the bug. But i had to reenter the coupon code 3 or 4 times though to make it *stick*

I would bet this issue of locations being filled in automatically would not be a problem if you ordered your new Aneros without being logged in to the forums, and had deleted all the browser cookies that identify you prior to visiting the Aneros web site. That being said, it seems to me that ideally this is something that Aneros needs to correct on their end.

Excuse my possible ignorance, but I am wanting to order the tempo but I see that it is not listed in the shop section and it seems the only way to get to it is by clicking on the "pre-order" box. Just to make sure, it is currently out and by ordering it I would receive it within normal shipping time? I wish to know because currently I am home for the next two weeks and go back up to school after that and would want it to arrive while I am still here...otherwise I would just wait until I get back up to school. I'd rather not wait though, this seems like a beautiful work of art I absolutely MUST get my hands on haha!

Yea, it's out. It was released immidietly one week ago, and i ordered it the same day it was relased and it was mailed the day after. Thoose who lives in US and chosed the express delivery got theirs before x-mas, and it was shipped out the same day it was released.

Thank you! Now I have to get to a bank and deposit money in my card...$99 - how disappointing is that. Cannot wait to get this!

Happy new year everyone =) I hope you enjoy your new ride buster, looking forward to hearibg from you on the performance on the thing. The number of reviews so far has been pretty scarce. How would you describe the shape of the handle of the tempo, it has a oval flat base, but how is it shaped. If you first imagine a egg, end then you slice it in half vertically ( not the normal horisontal way, the other one), is that the general shape of the handle, or is it shaped some other way?
