Hi darwin and thanks for this post!

Are you actively engaged in The TaoBums Forum at this point?

I think it is a good idea to build links to forums where complementary practices to our's here can explore the common ground and share techniques that do complement each other's. Both Tao and Tantra come to mind. We certainly have a great complementary relationship and numerous cross-memberships with Jack Johnston's Key Sound method and its forum.

Earlier this year I joined The TaoBums and posted regarding my youthful Intellectual Orgasms, when challenged at KSMO to compare them with Crown Centred Orgasms. I got virtually no response or show of any interest... Recently Sean, the guiding light at The TaoBums, invited me to get more active and it would be great if several Aneros and AnerosKSMO practioners started some threads in common there to build the initial inter-practice links and common language.

Anyone else game to further explore Tao practice possibilities?

For those curious, here is the Michael Winn (HealingTao) article The Quest for Spiritual Orgasm that Pan posted in Buster's "An absolute MUST read!" thread below, to put the scope of such an exploration into context. http://www.healingtaobritain.com/p67magazinequestforspiritualorgasm.htm

Thanks again darwin.

Hi Artform,

I have been over there twice now and have myself registered. It is some pretty heavy stuff for sure but I was hoping to find a thread or two that would be interesting to join. The first one I looked at had a bunch of people arguing about religion. You know, I am just tired of that! There is never a conclusion to it and nobody wins anyway, so what's the point? Probably not the best way to start over there but I agree with you that I have enjoyed the fact that there are so many of us from here that also contribute over at KSMO. I can see that same advantage with the Tao discussion forum.

I just need to spend more time over there. The terms used are foreign to me but hopefully with some more exposure it will not be too bad.

Have a great day.

Hey Artform,

just wanted to let you know I also recently registered as "Pan" over at Tao Bums. And I'm more than happy to join any discussions you'd like to start up there.

And Buster,

I've also noticed how quickly things can get heated over at Tao Bums. And regarding all the foreign terminology, I spent years studying Taoist philosophy and I barely scratched the surface. The funny thing is the books I gained the most benefit from have the fewest pages and the simplest writing:

"The Tao of Pooh" by Benjamin Hoff

"The Tao Te Ching" by Lao-Tzu (I must have at least dozen translations of this)

"Hua Hu Ching" by Lao-Tzu

Also there is a wonderful cartoonist named Tsai Chih Chung who has transformed many classic Eastern works (from Taoism and Zen Buddhism to The Art of War, etc) into delightfully simple comics that are actually fun to read. I would highly recommend these to anyone:

http://www.amazon.com/Tao-Speaks-Lao-Tzus-Whispers-Wisdom/dp/0385472595/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220310245&sr=1-11

http://www.amazon.com/Zhuangzi-Speaks-Chih-chung-Tsai/dp/0691008825/ref=pd_sim_b_4

http://www.amazon.com/Dao-Zhuangzi-Harmony-Nature/dp/0385487428/ref=pd_sim_b_5

Ironically, you've already stated the most central theme of Taoism which is that the nature of "God" cannot be understood or explained in words. Therefore it is pointless to argue over it. As far as I'm concerned, that makes you more enlightened than most of the "educated" members of Tao Bums already.

😉

Well! Well! Thanks All!

What a great and growing campfire crew! 😀 ... and the humour! 8)

Last night I logged back in at Tao Bums and added my core signature and attempted avatar (I have to go back and do a custom photoshop version to suit TTB's different avatar format), which is a near-formless smear for now. Said hello with a post in Xenolith's thread on Crown Chakra Orgasms where the interesting conversation revived just a month ago: http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?showtopic=2568&referid=&highlight=crown+chakra+orgasm

In addition, I found Vortex's home thread "Walking the Invisible Path" which looks very interesting.

rumel, now I really need to get our Peridise order in!!! Are you in at Tao Bums? Is Alana?!! I think she could find this quite interesting...

darwin, are you there? Buster, what date did you join/register?

Pan, wonderful, and thanks again for the Michael Winn article. I would like to find or start a thread on energy work with a physically wounded body, and the same (find/start) with a thread on these evolving historic practices linked to the rapidly expanding knowledge and theories in neurosciences, for starters (all referencing our Aneros and KSMO experiences/advances)...

High Ho, High Ho...

Hey Artform,

I joined August 28 and I was able to use Buster over there as well.

They have a live chat section over there. That is pretty cool. I wish we could have one here.

I found out about the Aneros from the Taobums. I've been hanging out there for several years now. I'm Eric23 over there. Things can get very heated over there, but there some very knowledgeable folks there.

Hi All

The Aneros campfire at TTB is expanding, just as Taoist practitioners are arriving here too.

Well there is now a slimmed down version of my blog Ecstatic Energies and the Art of Living at TTB, and two threads in the Taoist Discussion section of the Forum: Three Varieties of Ecstatic Experience, and Energy Work in the Wounded Body.

I believe that this will expand and benefit just as the joint memberships with KSMO have and do.

BTW, TTB has a Live Chat area, just as KSMO has its always open Chatbox. Having experienced the benefits of these, at this point mostly KSMO, wouldn't it be a wonderful added dialogue opportunity here too! Hey, support...

all the best
