I've seen this term used several times on the forum and the wiki but never more than a sentence. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to find more information on this subject. I believe some of my recent sessions have been bordering on a Tantric experience but this is a whole new world for me that I recently discovered and so I know next to nothing on the subject.
exopsytosis,
Tantra refers to a highly varied philosophy seeking methods to integrate spirituality into the fabric of everyday life. Several branches of Tantric practice embrace human sexuality as an essential experiential pathway to spirituality.
This website touches upon the roots of prostate massage as related to Taoist and Tantric traditions of spiritual fulfillment.
Prostate massage via Aneros use leading to a Super-O experience has produced for a high number of users a profound shift in their psyches. While the physical state of pleasure produced during a Super-O is significant, it is, for some men, the concurrent altered state of consciousness which opens one's mind to contemplate possibilities which transcend the pure physical experience. For some men, this may even become a spiritual experience, hence B F Mayfield's reference to the Aneros massagers as "Tantric training wheels" Good Vibes to You !
Thank you so much. The second website answered every question I had.
In the UK "stabilizers" would be what we'd call extra wheels attached either side of a bicycle to prevent the bike falling over when pedalled by a learner cyclist. Once your body's developed the knack of riding, it's so much easier in the future (both bikes and Aneros). With enough experience, you can ride without the stabilizers.
